Mississippi Burning a classic.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Amazing (no hyperbole here) actor!

Strange circumstances though.

Who can forget Popeye Doyle? He was a truly great actor.

Strange circumstances yes but best to wait til the truth comes out rather than speculate.

RIP Gene Hackman a Hollywood legend whose name will live on for a long time.

When he was in acting school he met Dustin Hoffman, and they were voted as " the 2 actors who were less likely to succeed" πŸ˜‚

His drill sergeant in the Marines told him that" he would never make anything of himself " πŸ˜‚

Plus when he moved to New York he shared an apartment with Dustin Hoffman and Robert Duvall, and they were all told they would struggle as actors!! πŸ˜‚

RIP - one of Hollywood's finest actors.

That film viscerally brought home what real racism was / is like

Horrific

A great man by all accounts and all his peers saw him as the governor

My son doesn't watch old films, he reckons they're old so they must be crap.

He really does know nothing

Modern films have poor storylines, poor acting and an over reliance on CGI.

Great actors can carry a film even if it has a dodgy script.

Hackman was a great.

Mississippi Burning a classic.

The acting talent in this scene alone. Gene Hackman. Brad Dourif. Michael Rooker. That's without going through the rest of the cast with names like Frances McDormand, Willem Dafoe, Stephen Tobolowsky and R. Lee Ermey. What a film.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
