Ban 22:49 - Feb 18 with 2644 viewsBoundy

Grey hound racing in Wales to be banned because 35k allegedly signed a petition, nearly half a million signed a petition to discuss the 20 mph speed limit, that was ignored .Virtue signalling at it's worst.

If you read the thread I didn’t bring up the 20mph, or speedway racing come to think of it.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to take a break from this forum, somewhere in warmer climes would be good. Have a safe and accident free year.

Thanks Champ
And don't be setting out in that boat and butchering Sea Bass

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Apparently the truth about the greyhound ban has come out. It's part of the deal to get the Senedd budget through. Jane Dodds who is backing the budget to get it through has connections to a greyhound charity and instigated the ban. Should Welsh politics really be like this.

Welsh politics can't really be questioned without stout defences from real Welsh people
Apparently

No animal should be used for human sport
Simple as that

People either accept that or excuse it

Used to off the East pier and Mumbles
Kids were cruel those days
My grandad salmon fished in the Tiefi
He was a cruel man

Fishing?

Due to inexperience of the angler having its head nearly severed because of the sharp pulling back of the rod and speed of reeling in then to have someone trying to remove at times a rusty hook into its fleshy then its head smashed against the floor because its only mackerel used only to catch more mackerel , and yes I've seen that happen or doggies classed as worthless again kicked about and again I've seen this happen and yes I used to fish myself .I can't comment on river fishing as I've never done it .

I don’t know enough about the welfare issues impacting on greyhounds, but I do see quite a few people walking them these days and from what I’ve been told they are neglected ex racing dogs.

I am in favour of the cap on the cost of kids using buses (if there are services to be had) as it will enable kids to travel and get jobs etc, a 16 year old on minimum wage (£6.40) can now afford to catch a bus to work.

It's not whether dog racing should be banned or not, IMO it just should not be a political plaything.

It's what happens in a coalition government. Just look at Northern Ireland and Theresa May's government.

It's good that Plaid didn't slide with Labour. Slightly more democratic in my opinion.
