After the CV questions. there is now a bit of a flap about Rachel Reeves' "Who's Who" entry. Following a Times investigation it seems that this repeats the incorrect information about the length of time she worked at the Bank of England, and also contains a misleading claim to a prestigious journal publication. This is perhaps not the greatest of sins, but would have been considered very naughty if she had been applying for an academic post.
Because it was true, even aligned Conservatives would tell you as much.
It was true. And everything that has been said about Reeves appears to be too.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

This is the best I can do on Chancellor nicknames. Gwyn may have underestimated how nasty politicians are to each other. Are any worse than Rachel's?
Geoffrey Howe = Mogadon Man. Denis Healey = Pug Nigel Lawson = Smuggins Norman Lamont ? Ken Clarke = Ken the Zen (based on something Bercow said about his zen-like calm). Gordon Brown = ‘The Big Clunking Fist’ (from Blair) Alistair Darling ? George Osborne = “The Submarine” (because he dives from sight at the first sign of trouble). Sajid Javid = CHINO ( name coined by Dom Cummings to mean chancellor in name only because of his alleged lack of control over the economy).

Darling was nicknamed 'Red Ally' after Kinnock allegedly pointed him out as a threat from the left of the party Rachel from accounts is nothing unusual in the context of previous nicknames unless you are a fully paid up member of the outrage everywhere club.

Not outraged, just expressing an opinion.
I said originally I’d probably be a lone voice on here.

The usual "suspects for the use of a better word , have remained silent as they do about most negative matters concerning this government and as they say silence is golden ,its sometimes not what you say but what you don't say.
What if it was Robert from accounts would that sit better with you? She's a women, she worked in accounts, a pretty accurate description , so what is misogynist about that ? that to me is taking the mick of someone so deserving of the disdain she receives . You come across as a professional honest person ,so would you apply for a post knowing that you had embellished/lied to your peers with a CV or entries into Linkedin, if a person is willing to lie about something so basic then what else would they be prepared to they lie about.
IMO this is serious because Labour were going to be a shining light where integrity would be first and foremast in their thinking and if not taken seriously how then can they expect the voter to believe them in anything they say. Starmer had a chance to set an example ( although with himself that bar is low already) but didn't hoping this would go away but it hasn't .
My name is Rob and I am offended by my name being mentioned as a similarity .

Kwasi Kwarteng was nicknamed “KamiKwarsi”. Was that racist?
We all know what Jeremy hunt was regularly called on live tv and that wasnt an accident.
Gordon Brown was known as all sorts, “clunking fist” and “Bottler Brown”.
Incompetent politicians get nicknames. It’s satire not a hate crime.
“Rachel from accounts” is a pisstake of her lack of ability and her (self inflicted) over stating of her past experiences not the fact she has ovaries.
If we can’t take the piss out of our failing politicians for being useless then what do we have left?
Yes to a point, but the Rachel from Accounts tag is deliberate and to remind her/others that whatever she achieves in life she will always be just a nobody.
Its a term laced with both misogyny and snobbery.
If Rachel made it her deliberate lifes work she would still not fall to the poor standards of recent Tory failures.
Beware of the Risen People

Your first paragraph makes no sense, the nickname has come from her embellishment of her CV, and her budget and other financial decisions have been pretty poor so far
I fail to see how it's misogyny Rachel is her name, and another favourite of yours Liz Truss was christened Lettuce, it's not misogyny it's saying it like it is
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
