Looks like they have made it past the first obstacle...

They beat Labour there too, interesting times.

Turkeys voting for Christmas. From the article...

"I can’t vote for people I think are doing nothing for you," he said. He is considering backing either an independent or Reform UK, the upstart party led by veteran right-winger Nigel Farage.

Never mind that Port Talbot plans a greener furnace to melt scrap metal from 2028; that an £80 million government support fund is helping staff and businesses; that a £2.5 billion “plan for steel” is in the works; or that Labour insists its deal was better than one it inherited, late in the day, from its Tory predecessors.

Before you consider the Port Talbot Freeport area which is largely built around offshore wind turbine construction and maintenenace and sustainable jet fuel production.

I'm sure Reform and their Net Zero ambitions will get fully behind this!

Reform seems to be on the rise in Port Talbot and presumably Swansea too.

The WAG knew Port Talbot was going to shrink and lined up the Ineos factory in Bridgend ready to employ most of the workers made unemployed. Then NPT and Swansea voted Brexit and Radcliffe moved his factory to Toulouse.

Reform make things worse not better. Where are the USA and Asian jobs. The" sunny Brexit Uplands". Missing in action.

Don't you get tired of posting things that are clearly wrong. Even TATA didn't know they'd be closing Port Talbots furnace back in 2016.

Ineos (yes Radcliffe) themselves stated that the move to France was because of changes brought about because of Covid, nothing to do with Brexit which was 3 years earlier,
