He seemed a bit of a beast to me in a 10 minute cameos I saw. He was not liked by Williams but the new man might be able to use him. You need to give him time to develop. If I was a centreforward under Williams being asked to chase down the ball being passed around the opposition back line "without" support I would not be happy and would be having a few words to to question the folly of such a tactic.

Goykeres was poor at 22 as well funnily enough. Cullen was not much use either. That was three years ago and only now is he showing real consistency.

There are no big number 9 s coming through as far as know. Crole prodigious at Cardiff plays now for Penybont. I have not seen Woodward. Bickerstaff at Wrexham will probably get cut. No one at Newport even better than CBR.

The last great Welsh centre forward (no Anglo) were Hartson, Iwan Roberts and Gareth Taylor. They come in threes.
