Swansea City : Luke Williams will stay at Swansea City, no plans to sack him 6th Feb 2025 08:00
Luke Williams will be the head coach at Swansea City for another game despite his side not winning a fixture this year and conceding goals. Swans Chairman, Andrew Coleman is under no pressure to relieve him of his role and is more than happy with him at this time. 1

Swansea City : Grit and determination earns the Swans all the points 9th Feb 2025 16:01
We saw a very different Swansea City after a pretty dismal first half an hour in this fixture. Whatever clicked in the minds of those Swansea City players after a bombardment from Bristol City and superb saves from Lawrence Vigouroux, it most certainly worked. 0

TBH I think it will take more than one result to turn the supporters around. I will be going but in still in the Williams out camp. Williams comment in the interview was very telling about him having faith in the players and he hopes they have faith in him.

Yes bizarre thing to say

An excellent result after a difficult week.

It proves that Luke still has the dressing room and they are buying into his training methods.
With the DoF on his way in - it could be a better four months ahead.

And if we win on Wednesday and at Stoke then the fans forum should be a calmer event?

One swallow doesn't make a summer, don't get ahead of yourself, one game at a time.

Even the pundits picked up on it. Luke really needs advice on how to be interviewed, does his brain really connect to his mouth. Or is he smarter than all of us, I think not.

Down arrowed by mistake , Nauhton had a very good game today ,covering a lot of ground and made a few insisive passes.

I thought it was a strange down arrow Boundy, I've squared it now

Much better second half today.
Players showed a lot of character.
O'Brien slotted in nicely on his debut.
A bit rusty but clear to see a good player at this level.

Think that just proves the rumours that there has been problems in the dressing room, the WBA debacle the mostly likely cause along with his tactics if you can call it tactics.

Very encouraging, O'Brien was excellent, always looked to get forward without neglecting his defensive tasks. Cabango looks like a Captain, doesn't appear to weigh him down at all.

Penny might have dropped
Grins really was overated
He really was no captain
Cabsngo showing just how badly Martin and Williams have treated him
A great young pro and honest lad
A credit

Obrien is clearly, in his first game, different level
He's one we should " invest" in

This is quality we see in him

Just looking at the stats, 5 shots on target with 45% possession, that makes such good reading and a damned sight better than over 60% possession with 1 or 2 shots on target.

I was a profiling goalscorer my whole playing career, finishing scoring winning goals for Wales Senior Walking Football in international matches. No way on earth was that an easy chance, nothing like it. It was get a touch on the ball and hope for the best. Why some people watch football matches is way beyond my understanding

I've never played professional football in my life, I watch it because I enjoy it and my opinion is as valid as anyone else. The same as other posters on here.

Well everyone sees things differently and maybe dismissing others opinions so freely isn't the best way to go?

After all, when we see pundits on tv who have proven top level pedigree have different views doesn't it prove opnions are really like assholes, we all have them and anybody can be wrong? Even you.

I can't comment on Eom's "chance" because I didn't see it.

Maybe should do a bit of research on the word VALID.
My views on Welsh rugby might be interesting but no way on earth would they be valid.

True, but if you were a walking footballer it possibly wasn't. But if you were a professional footballer in the championship it was.

On his own free in the opponents area only the goal and a keeper in front of him ?

I don't rate him he's been here long enough now and shows nothing in my opinion, he should have scored, but he slid in to make contact with the ball its was a decent opportunity to score, but he couldn't really guide the ball into the either corner due to the speed of the ball and him sliding in, it's one of them really on another day it goes in.
