Ryan Bennett (2012) all over again 23:41 - Feb 3 with 2870 views | ReslovenSwan1 | I believe Coleman tried his best and delivered Wright to Fairwood. Williams it seems did not give him a positive vibe. For whatever reason he pulled out. Some talk of the club not wanting to pay agents fees. Who knows? The club moved on good prospects even when they are under contract and cannot close out deals for new players either. Buying new players is risky. Having failed to buy players the club must have decent coaches to improve the young players already at the club. It must not buy and keep washed out veterans. Swansea missed out on a promising DMF from Spurs a few years back Tashan Oakley Booth who was in Coopers u17 WC squad. He did not do well at Stoke or Lincoln and is now in Portugal. He also had pedigree. Wright resembles the Ryan Bennett story where hi e changed his mind and went to Norwich. He gave them 5 good years and Cooper signed him went he was well past his best on big money. Gazumped by Norwich once again.Reportedly Ryan did a u turn on the M4. The club could not even get the Welsh kid from Chippenham who went to Peterborough but has been loaned back. Chippenham???? and led a dance by the Orient. [Post edited 4 Feb 0:20]

Ryan Bennett (2012) all over again on 12:39 - Feb 5 by ReslovenSwan1 | Fans are in a constant state of " everyone must be sacked".At some point you need to drop an hour and build. Coleman and co tick all the boxes. a) in Swansea b) investing cash c) investing their own cash and time d) looking to engage and communicate with the fans No doubt he has to do better. It is as good as it gets. The next is build and improve. Williams does not look as he is improving players and needs improvements fast . Selling Abdullai was not a good sign. Coventry got lucky. The harder they work the luckier they get. They had better judgement. Recruitment and academy have provided good players and managers have ditched or sold them mostly cheaply. Whittaker Al Hamadi Joseph Benda Abdullai all doing well after being dispatched. Lowe was real good for Swansea but sent away as " unsuitable" for the playing style. Eom fits but does not produce any thing like what Lowe did [Post edited 5 Feb 12:47]

Al Hamadi wasnt ditched, sold, or dispatched - he walked away, and followed his own path!!

Benda doing well, my backside. 3 cup games this season and none in the league, the guy posts utter crap and dresses it up as facts.

Premier league footballer. Good enough for Fulham not Swansea. If Swansea wanted to keep Al Hamadi they would have paid him and loaned him out. Try not going for the poster. It needs discipline..It is a forum for opinions even ones you do not like. Abdullai the latest duff decision. Bad teams trade badly. [Post edited 5 Feb 15:52]

I reject you recommendation. Send a letter to Coleman Birch and give them the same recommendation. It was Birch that allowed that event. He was duped following the crowd.

So Benda sits on the Premier League bench it's good, Rushworth sits on the Premier League bench it isn't. You really need to give your head a wobble.

Both are great keepers and both could be playing and developing at Swansea. No difference. One was Swansea s mistake the other was Brightons mistake. Benda is a few years older.

Al Hamadi finished his final season with us by winning the "Under-23s’ Player of the Year award." He WAS offered a new contract, but turned it down and walked away. His favourite saying?? ... "Take risks and prosper."

If a player won't sign a contract, you cannot force them. Al Hamadi decided to leave, end of story. You can have facts but you cannot make your own facts up and then later try to claim they were merely assumptions for debate. Try not going for the poster, that's laughable really. How many have you labelled dim, thick, slow witted and many other slurs?

I have never labelled any individual as ant thing disrespectful. I criticise groups for doing moronic things and insulting my people.

Ryan Bennett (2012) all over again on 14:52 - Feb 5 by SullutaCreturned | He forgot a rather important box that definitely needs ticking...CAPABILITY. Oh another one...KNOW-HOW. Lets go for another...EXPERIENCE. Those boxes are not ticked and as long as Coleman tries to do too much by himself they never will be. Why people bother replying to his trust nonsense is beyond me, I mean I am a persistent, stubborn old cus and even I gave up. He takes the facts and rearranges them to match his own narrative. |
Coleman is a rookie like Jenkins was in 2002. The club needs stability and consistency. He must learn on the job improve and stay in Swansea.Birch for not signed loans. Dhanda perhaps and Kris Petersen.

There is a slight difference comparing to Jenkins in 2002. Morgan (and Jenkins) were Swans fans/season ticket holders for a long period well before they took over. Therefore they knew and respected the history of the club.

We are talking about corporate competence. Neither Jenkins nor Morgan were football experts who played at a high level at least. There is no reason why Coleman cannot learn to understand how English football works and even understand what a good player looks like. I would expect Coleman to follow the advice of his recruitment people and manager. The club needs Coleman to develop like a player and stick k around and jot take the lessons he had learned elsewhere. He can consult with d fellow director Morgan if they have a good working relationship.

"cannot learn" there is the issue..... we don't have time for someone in his position to learn how to run a football club when we are sleepwalking into League1. Can Ken help him? And why didn't he appoint a DoF the day Watson left the club. I would hope at the forum there is an explanation around Watson's performance during his time at the club.

Compared to Coleman they were experts having been lifelong football fans. How much Soccer did Coleman watch stateside? Which isn't even relevant because it's a totally different system, therefore HJ and Morhan were easily experts compared to Coleman. Coleman needs time to learn but he has to learn to listen first. The problem is that SCFC probably do not have the time to spare for him to learn so he needs to find some UK experts who can advise him while he learns. Good intentions will not save our club.
