Going to need 5 wins and a couple of draws to stay up out of 16 games.

If that turns out to be what’s required we’ve got no chance.

If the team stays as it is, we'll need more points than we are capable of getting.

Ask Williams that question.
The way he spoke after the last match he doesn't seem confident beating anyone in the Championship.

The last ten years the average has been 44 points. The highest has been 51 points in 2017 and last season Brum on 50. So if you go higher at 55 points Plymouth need 30 points, Luton and Derby 28 and us on 21. It’s up to us really, wouldn’t it be great though if LW had a plan to get us there.

Does that take into consideration the clubs with points deductions.

I still think we will be fine with 50 points, 4 wins 4 draws from 16 games is surely manageable

What were the 3 clubs and the # of points each had at this stage for each of the last 3 years?
What were the 3 clubs to go down and the amount of points at the end of the last 3 seasons?

I think getting 12-16 points over the last 16 games allows Swans to stay up. I better stick with 16; LW may see my 12 and just quit at that!

Really Rayns, really? To say im not confident would be a huge understatement.

We’ll probably fluke a result or two along the way but we’ll need massive amounts of luck to get those points or a change in the manager with better suited tactics along with a ‘new manager bump’ we so badly need.

T
We are in free fall.
To address that,we need action.
By action ,I mean positive action and change as what we have now isn’t working .And won’t .
Williams is nit going to change anything and won’t improve players nor is he going to amend tactics,as he should .
This is exactly what we had under Martin

It’s horrible being a fan ,isn’t it
We love the club and have unrealistic dreams and hopes for it
I’ve been at it since 1958.
I was walking the dog late last night ,avoiding the fox shite, reflecting that I really should walk away from anything Swansea City as it’s simply too upsetting. Losing affect our home life ,not as bad as it used to ,but it’s still tough for me to simply ignore events over which I have no control . Basic philosophy .
It should be as significant in our lives
It shouldn’t determine when you can go on holiday or have family functions
That’s the theory

Right now, O watch Luke Williams and vomit forms in my mouth ,my glutes tense when I catch him spouting his insane, disingenuous crap . I actually thiugh the new ownership would be a renaissance but nothing as changed and it won’t until we are brave but do the obvious .

It’s as if we are actually not bothered about stopping places with Wrexham, which we will.

That is what really hurts

The lowest number of points required to avoid relegation was 38 in 21/22, but that season 2 teams received points deductions so if we ignore that it would have been 48 points. The highest number of points to avoid relegation was 53 in 16/17. The average number of points required is around 44.

I’m using a phone screen so it’s difficult to extract the data, but it’s all here. TBH it fluctuates and varies quite a lot. Points deductions also play a part.

From what I can see from the last five years only one team has gone down with more points then us after 30 games, Hull on 39. Don’t know if Hull had points deducted but only got 6 more points and went down on 45, that’s a massive warning for us.

How many points, I don't know BUt I am certain that the 3 home ganes in April (Derby, Plymouth and Hull) could be the tipping point.

Take 9 points and we're goo, 7 points from those and we could be ok, lose all 3 and we are screwed.

Are any clubs already deducted points or are any waiting a decision? That could help us and makes Colemans sticking to the P&S rules at least ONE good decision.

There are enough 6 point games to come, but other teams will be battling, we have to change our mindset.

The last season in the Premier it was ah well we've got Bournemouth Southampton and Stoke in the last 3 games End result L L L

In fact our last 10 games were 3 D 7 L

No delay it has to start at Bristol on Sunday.

Without Darling in defence we are only half a team. I'm expecting nothing on Sunday so a point would be a bonus. For me we must win against Sheffield on Wednesday to try and kick start our season, we should more or less have a full squad available, lose this and it will be incredibly difficult. It looks like Williams will be still here for Sunday, time is running out.

50 points should keep us safe. Start Sunday in a game which means that we are underdogs. Lets upset the applecart as so many teams do and have done to us over the years. We have not won in 6 games so that record must be broken then

If there were ever a time an CEO & owner needed to make amends to his team's fans and its players, & fellow investors, now is that time Mr. Coleman! If Swans are to stand a chance in staying up, if you want your investment to stay solvent, then rid yourself and the team and its fans of the foolish manager you employ. If you don't see that Williams has lost his squad's respect and only is instilling negativity with his awkward comments, then the Swans' odds are heavily favored toward being relegated.

If Rob Edwards is available, then would he be one to consider for the job?

If the rumours are true that Richard Montague from Notts County is coming in to oversee football matters, regrettably we are stuck with Williams for a long, long time.
