Get this done and we will recover our pride ,which we have lost as a team.

Removing Williams thiugh is crucial

£3m? Would be triple that. You can't buy a consistent, ever present Championship midfielder for that little

If true let’s hope we have a replacement ready, a very good one.

He's valued at 4-5 million apparently. He is nowhere near worth 9 million.

You can if he plays for Swansea.
It's very low but that's a recurring theme

This absolutely. Let’s hope no one chances their arm with a low bid for Franco on deadline day

Hopefully they ARE all lining up at the stadium, in the style of Wacky Races. Main question is who's left at the club to shout "Heavens to Murgatroyd"?

Or the clubs falling apart

Grimes, going the young up and coming Wilson let out on loan when we are crying out for a striker and Abdulia a player who has started and been on the bench all season gone, Darling highly unlikely to sign a new deal and we looking at league one players.

A new era indeed, hopefully a move away from possession based tactics. Nothing wrong with possession if you do something with it, however lost track of the amount of times we've dominated possession with 70% plus but had fewer shots on target. It's what we do next that's key now.

For 3 million we. could get a replacement plus one other in the European or South American markets. Bite that hand off!

The problem is that the manager is still here and he dictates the possession based tactics.
We now don't have any players capable of playing it.

I hear the terms are a free transfer and £1m for each full England cap he earns.

Bargain!

Every player has his price
Grimes ,hitherto, has not had lucrative offers come his way
Now he has
He’s off

He’s probably Pyssed off with Williams but hasn’t the guts to confront him and represent his teammates

My God,are we best shot of him.

We have to seize this moment ..

Replace him this week

I believe his time to go has come. Anything 3m+ should be seen as a pretty decent deal all round.

He may be narked off with Williams as some have suggested, or maybe under appreciated if us fans, most of whom (on this forum) appear to gladly want to see him go (or at least be stripped of the captaincy duties).

If he does go, he should be treated with the respect he deserves by the Jack Army and wished well. Whatever your thoughts are to him as a player/captain, from my perspective he's always been a model professional and treated the club and it's fans with respect.

I've been frustrated watching the majority of our play go through him rather than the team being more fluid and quicker on the attack, time will tell if our performances and results will improve in his absence.

I think he's been club captain under 5 different managers who couldn't all have been wrong?
All the best MG, I wish you well for the rest of your playing career.

I don’t think his influence on games (for the most part non existent), his authority or leadership skills would have made him a regular pick let alone captain In any championship side aspiring for promotion .
