Another free and fair election held, and surprisingly Lukashenko wins again, the one and only president of Belarus since the establishment of the office in 1994.

Putin not far behind on 20 years, amazing how popular these 2 dictators are......

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

It is easy when only one candidate on ballot paper plus a few of Putin's cronies. All opposition leaders have either been killed or locked up

Belarus and Russia. The only European countries not signed up the the ECHR.

Maybe there are more admirers on here than the obvious.

The EU itself is not. This means that the actions of the EU's institutions, agencies and other bodies cannot currently be challenged at the European Court of Human Rights.

This has been explained to you many times, but it doesn't seem to sink in for whatever reason. There are 27 opposition parties there.

Why do you insist on stating otherwise? What is the basis for you thinking this apart from your bias?

They are taking their time to join, maybe they are waiting for the ECHR to to amend it's rules to fit in with the modern world we live in, because at the moment it's being used by criminals and chancers.
