Team is best and most practical of what is available It’s simply damage limitation Ste I’m glad we have Sanjay and Adams back but it’s all bout forwards as you know. It’s a frightening thought what France will do to our front risk. Maybe ,they’ll be overimbibing on Pernod the next before .

I believe the Welsh players gave their all, but they just aren’t good enough. We were drubbed by a much better team. We aren’t big enough to play the biff, biff game and we aren’t creative enough to stretch teams. It’s a reflection on our regional and club game. It’s my understanding member clubs of the WRU have to order and pay for their international ticket allocation in advance, so this seasons tickets will probably have been moved on, but next year the WRU May struggle to sell tickets especially at north of £100 each. I thought the Ref was poor, there were blatant forward passes he missed including the 3rd try, and potential high tackles he didn’t give. The Ntamack incident was a red every day of the week and imho he should have red carded him from the off, it was blatant.

He refused to look at the "clearout" on Wainright in first few minutes - when asked by Jac Morgan. Plus France lived offside. But - It was Men v Boys!!

Gatland can only work with the tools he as available, miracles he can do its the impossible he can't do. Look at the size and physicality of those French players, we can't match their power and pace, we did well at scrum time though in fairness. The experiment of playing Ben Thomas at outside half didn't work, decent centre/wing but doesn't have the instinctiveness of an outside half. Ref was always going to level the numbers up when he sent the French player off, although he give Morgan enough chances to sort things out. He pulled Wales up for a forward short pass in the tight, but I saw DuPont do the same at least twice, plus that looping pass for one of tries was well forward. Disappointing loss, but it wasn't unexpected and we so a few bright lights and promise from this young Welsh Team.

Can’t argue with any of that. We just don’t have the players to compete at this level due to years of mismanagement by the WRU. The only answer they threaten every time is to scrap the Ospreys. As if that will make things better. As has been said on here it really was men against boys last night.

Wales' 2025 Six Nations squad ... on 22:47 - Feb 4 with 141 views | builthjack | It was a training session for the French. I have noticed that there are loads of forward passes in games, not punished. Every game. Six Nations - Why the same six countries? Why not have two or three divisions with promotion and relegation? Are the likes of Wales scared that they may be relegated? I don’t like the closed shop.

It wouldn't be solely Wales's decision, they obviously wouldn't vote for it though and neither would the others if the shoe was on the other foot. Anyway I'd want a Welshman or a Welsh team to win anything they were involved in.
