This new investment on 21:19 - Jan 7 with 995 views | max936 | I think some fans expecting a big spend this January or definitely in the Summer, I don't see it myself, Coleman seems to be still trying to buy players at Poundland prices hence the 250k bid for Low, its still early days I know, but any buys are going to be a delicate balance.

This new investment on 20:53 - Jan 7 by magicdaps10 | Sentiment has played a big part unfortunately. All 3 are out of contract so we really need to move on, if they are good around the place then maybe offer Joe and Kyle a coaching role at backroom staff wages. All 3 are considered squad players so we could be looking at getting 5 in to replace 3, one or two regular starters with a few younger players with potential. |
Lissah, Parker, Govea, Wilson, Cotterill can come into the squad and Coleman needs them to do well. Henia perhaps. All these players will cut the wage bill considerably. Abulai must replace Fulton. Coleman s hands are tied severely. If the club reports a loss of over £8m then there will be legal trouble with finesor point deductions. ( As I understand it) I have regularly pointed out fans should support the US owners. They have a tough job.

I am all for supporting our owners who are engaged with the fan base and deliver on their promises.

Swansea fans are owners and have performed very badly over the last 10 years. There was no presence in the last fans forum.

Wilson has 6 months left on his contract with no offer for an extension, should he be ostracised like you are suggesting for Darling. Or just let him drift away at the end of the season like many you have championed.

We need to be ruthless at the end of the season. Kyle Naughton Joe Allen Pederson All out of contract plus looking very likely that Harry Darling is off. If transfer Market is accurate thats 63k a week in wages. Over 250 K a month which will allow us to bring some quality in. My concern is do we need to move.players out this month to bring any in or do we limp along until the summer. We need to get it right this time though can't afford another batch of expensive misfits. Without Naughton and Allen we would have had little cover in the last game. We need to get some quality in before we think about letting them go.

He is on low wages and coming back from serious injury. I. He is proving right now he is fit and I expect him to sign a new deal. He may have personal reasons for not signing and want to return to London perhaps. I expect an announcement shortly all being well.

I have learnt to expect nothing where the under 21s are concerned. I can remember players being championed on here and released days later. Mentioning no names.

What if the people who make these decisions have decided not to offer a deal? The other players you mentioned, needing them to step up and do well is still a long way from them being capable of doing so. There could be a good reason why they aren't getting first team matches? We don't just need players with potential, we need players to make the grade, to fulfill their potential. That's th hard part, as you keep reminding us with Gyorkeres, some good players get released and some donkeys get contracts because (just like in every walk of life) people are fallible and make mistakes. Many, many years back the Swans released a player called Georgio Chinaglia, does anybody know what happened to him? John Charles was down the Vetch, with Mel and a few other notables of that era and we never offered him a contract, at 17 Leeds spotted him gave him a trial and the rest is history. Mistakes happen. Those two are really big mistakes though...

Swnsea have been hoovering up acadmey player recently. Watt GK Bates Snr Bates jnr Woodward, Parker and Goveea. Wilson to me looks a class above Josh Thomas who scored a lot in u21 but come up short on loans. JT is a grafter and does a good press and can score. Wilson looks a tidier player to me better skills, fast and more explosives but like Thomas misses too many chances. (from limited time I have seen). Williams continually 'bigs up' veterans and triers like Fulton giving little encouragement to youngsters who probably need more encouragement than Joe Allen. Swnsea city record in developing forwards i through the academy is terrible Coleman needs to find out why. Cullen has got into the first team and admittedly playing well but fluffed every single time he heads the ball. He has been at the club since the age of 9. 16 years of coaching.

How about a new year's resolution on not critcising the Trust and moving every thread onto them. You are not a Trust member, you do not engage with them, and you do not have full knowledge of their work and a reminder that they are volunteers. If you were at the Patti Pavillion in 2001 you may show them more respect? Be kind.
