I would've liked for him to admit he f upped big time. I still think his original "speak to my agent" reply was him trying (unsuccessfully ) to play mind games with the press. I don't think it in anyway affected the Darling contract or our shit performance on Wednesday. I think people wanting him gone because they're not happy with his style of football are using this as an excuse to force their agenda, if the scoreline was reversed on Wednesday people would still be angry with his comment but may look at it differently. He's dug a huge hole for himself which he may not be able to get out of. Like most of what I've read over the past couple of days I have no facts to base this on. Just my opinion. 🤷♂️ |  | | |

He needs to make a gentleman' s agreement with the club to fulfill his contract. Then he can say I am under contract and not interested in moving. Any move would be at the club's discretion. Darling ending talks came at a bad time.

There is no structure showing the questions asked apart from the one about WEst Brom contacting Luke or his agent where his answer is quoted.
Which is what everyone has jumped on.....including the writers on here.
I'm not saying therein smoke without fire but I don't believe it's as bad as is painted.
The problem is Williams have many who dislike him because he isn't Martin other who don't like him because of his association with Martin and others who think he is crap because we are not pushing for promotion despite the lack of depth of quality throughout our squad.
As a result the media have been able to stir up the fab base.....before the advent of social media this would have been a storm in a teacup.
I have read through that Gareth Vincent article several times it jumps around its been deliberately written in a way to to achieve what it has.
We're there any Indy journos present at that interview?
