There so much nonsense about we put this on Twitter.

And for everyone you will only remain as conversant as possible by reading everything 😂 Impossible we know.

Plenty of people looking to trip up websites who report from the evidence available. All anonymous and all faceless 😂🫣

Mind you thanks for the clicks.

Indeed, especially as there’s a 2 week gap before the next league game after tomorrow. Who blinks first?

I’m slowly resigning myself to the fact he’s going to be here a bit longer and won’t go to WBA. What do the club do then is the big question.

And me, alas it will mean that we won't be watching the swans until the charlatan has gone.

"There's a growing feeling inside Swansea that Williams will now stay at the club, although some sections of the club's hierarchy are believed to be a little concerned at the head coach's handling of the saga."

"As too are supporters, many of whom have been disappointed by Williams' failure to publicly commit to the club and put the speculation to bed."

I’ll be tuning in tomorrow FB as it’s going to be very interesting to see the crowd reaction and more importantly the team reaction.

He could come to his presser today and be all apologetic and saying that the whole saga has just snowballed out of control and regreting not jumping on it when it broke but his position as leader of the team has been severely damaged leaving the owners with an easy decision for them to make when results take a downturn

This guy doesn’t BS.

So, we are now today hearing that Luke’s agent has been working on this and Luke, bless him knew nothing at all about it 🙄

He still said for them to phone his agent. He's toast as far as I'm concerned, tomorrow he will know all about it, when our supporters turn on a coach they know all about it.

Not so sure.

It depends what/if is said in the press conference and how the game and performance goes.

If it's badly then there may be some reaction, but it all depends on what people have read and heard.

I get what you mean vetch but i just can't bring myself to make the effort and spend well earned money to watch a team who is managed by him.

I’m not sure the crowd will react badly to him unless we’re getting played off the park. Support the team above all else. Things have to get really bad before the crowd turns toxic

Isn't this the way things work in football? That's why players and managers all come out with the same answers to any rumours.

They do Si but Luke didn't, he ballsed up big style by now quashing it in his first interview.

We all know how it works with managers as we have plenty of experience of them leaving us for better pastures but just don't BS us Luke.

If Luke is telling the truth, then he hasn’t spoken to his agent all week bar stating speak to my agent and other car crash comments. The issue here is Luke, his integrity because there’s no way I’m having his agent has been operating without his knowledge, that’s pure madness.

We’ve covered the agent stuff that Luke refers to many times. Telephone conversations happen all day every day. The issue isn’t that, it’s now the fact Luke stated he knew nothing about it.

Remember, The Swans have many many agent contacts, and they will know the full background on this, no matter what Luke says. Agents talk. For many reasons.

Why has he not tried to distance himself from his statement and just say it was not as it sounded or didn't come out right and say he is not interested in the West Brom job. He has been trying to be too clever and he's not.

In other words, economical with the truth .
Mods, feel free to delete if deemed inappropriate .
This is an example ,to me,of a disingenuous individual ,a chancer being sussed and he’s feeling the heat
Our fans have been BStted before but this is right up there with the worst examples

We needed / still need a manager of proven integrity

and that's what pi**es me off about the whole sage, disruption to the team which impacts on performances and results . I want him gone now as I suspect many others will and if he stays how will he come back from this. He can shove his fist pump where the sun doesn't shine.

It’s a tough fixture made tougher
I actually feel for the players now.
Clearly,they don’t trust him ,never have .
The don’t like the way he demands to play
They cant play the way he demands
It’s time to cut him loose
It’s time for us to unite

From the horse's mouth so to speak:

"As I said, I thought it was a wind up. I’ve heard nothing. I’ve probably not taken it as seriously as I should have. Someone sent me a screenshot saying I was having conversations and that my agent was talking to them. Don’t waste your money (betting on it). Absolutely nothing in it. I thought it was absurd. I’ve not only been here one year. We’ve only just secured Ben Cabango. Cullen and Allen are in the national team. I’m sorry if I didn’t take it seriously enough, but I thought it was quite funny. I’m glad it’s over and I want to make Swansea as good as they can possibly be.

I was perhaps the last to know. I’m not on social media so I don’t have a big network. It’s all come as a bit of a shock. There’s been no contact whatsoever. So I'm not sure how it’s got to the level it got to with the bookmakers deciding I was halfway down the road.

I did the interview after the Portsmouth game and went over to the Jack Army, who sang to us. It was the best feeling ever because you feel the love in your worst moment. And it’s the worst moment because you feel so terribly guilty (about the result).

That moment summed up what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to be together with our fans. Show respect to them at all times. When they show it back it’s quite emotional. The combination of that and me being in the dark around the speculation about me leaving, it was quite emotional after the game".

Bum horse! The way he has played out this saga has affected not only his stature as manager with his players, his staff & all Swans fans, but his club's recruitment of players. This has set Swansea back quite a bit, imo!
