Pompey are near the foot of the table, the Swans are in ninth, but it’s the home teams form at home which is keeping them afloat. Thirteen points from the last possible fifteen is a warning to heed for the Swans. Sold out completely the Jack Army are on the move.

Pompey v Swans : All your team news & Harry Darling speculation this morning 1st Jan 2025 08:00 Happy New Year to each and every one of you who have religiously supported the Indy this past year, thank you from all of us here. Swansea City visit Portsmouth today for a 3pm kick off at Fratton Park. Early news points towards Franco not being available with a bad dental injury and Jay Fulton more than likely starting the game.0
Honestly Luke do you really believe your PR ! Swans crash at Pompey 1st Jan 2025 19:13 If Swansea City could be any more unimaginative and weak in an away fixture this season it will signal that Luke Williams really hasn’t got the credentials to lead this Swansea team to anything other than complete mediocrity. The very fact he is being linked with West Bromwich Albion (it isn’t a rumour Luke, as you well know) tells us he has already lost heart in this Swansea side, and his reluctance to speak truthfully about it is an insult to Swansea fans.0

Just a bad day at the office compounded by individual errors, tactical ineptitude and bad finishing from ourselves.
Take it out on WBA. Hopefully they’ll keep a seat for LW on the coach back.
We lack desire and cohesion whether this is down to LW situation make your own minds up. It would be nice to add some players to the squad but by the looks of it a chunk will go towards making LW redundant.

It’s 4 now and I’m ashamed . 4-0 to the bottom side and Fireboy defends this abortion of a msnager
It’s because he sees any criticism of him as disloyal . The term naysayer and doom mungers are for the likes of me who are sick of this clown and his drivel He blames the owners but for the wrong reason. They employed him in the first place I feel ashamed right now .
4-0 down. People say this is an off day. I am not sure. His comments after the last game didn't help. I wonder if the players have picked up on that and believe he doesn't want to be here.

They have a professional pride though . That said, they must be peed off with him. That being the case, out captain should be challenging him. He’s not challenged anything in his life

You still want him to stay after today's horror show UJ?
I'm quite surprised at you mate, today's performance was all down to his comments, the players don't want to play for him, get rid asap, get sheehan to rally them for the scum game whilst looking for another manager, if we can't then keep sheehsn until the end of the season as he will instil pride and fire, he's done it before and he can do it again.

No I don’t FB! I was just trying to be a bit more positive about things. Bad days do happen but too much of a coincidence this one after what he’s said in the last week.
I’ve said before that I can take him or leave him but we can do better. We should encourage him to go now and get better. We only play our game it seems not one that nullifies the threats of the opponent. Lazy tactics.
Ive got to be honest, its been many a years since i done this, but I switched over to watch dirty lids.
playesrs and management have a lot too answer to, especially to all those fans that made the trip today.
i cannot for the life of me see how one minute we can look pretty good and the next like a team dragged from the pub for a game.......then perhaps thats the problem?
Theyve got a lot to do to make it upto the fans after that performance. again Ronald unable to cross, and the mai of them to the near post.

We gave them 3 of their goals today, it was a shocking display.
Indeed. I don’t think there’s another side out there that gives goals away to the amount we do and so spectacularly. We are not good enough to play this game so to do it for the majority of the game and not employing a more industrial plan B is lunacy.

Thing with that, is we’d be playing Sheehan football again, which wasn’t much different to Duffs.
If we’re then going to appoint a footballing manager in the summer, we’re starting another adjustment/consolidation season.
They’ll have contingency plans and if he goes to West Brom, they’ll have a few quid to play with. The problem will come if they appoint someone else and we don’t want him back.

Just heading back to hotel, absolute disgrace of a performance. We can all single out players to blame, there is 11 of them culpable today. But the buck stops with Williams, players are getting worse under him. He needs to go ASAP. Portsmouth are a very poor team, capable of the basics, we were poorer. I love Cullen but he annoyed me today gesturing to the fans to make noise. The fans were fantastic today, travelling in nunbers in awful weather and making a lot of noise.

We gave them 3 of their goals today, it was a shocking display.
1st Goal - Cullen isolated, in his own half, facing his goal tries to turn his man and gives away possession. 2nd Goal - Tymon and then Darling hesitate on edge of the six yard box trying to play football when it needed clearing. 3rd Goal - Header in the six yard box following a needless foul from Fulton as the ball ran for a goal kick. 4th Goal - Christie collapses in a heap under no pressure whatsoever.

It was pathetic.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
Given what we have seen so far this season is there anyone who is surprised by the result, as much as I hoped and tried to be positive about the game the result comes as no surprise. Got to get the basics right.

And all avoidable proving we can’t play pretty so why try it
