Can we afford to keep giving away quality midfield players, If you can bring in two good midfielders for the money paid but don't think we can afford to leave him go otherwise because in the playing department we are looking toothless in the midfield.

I agree Rich but typically we need a sale to finance further acquisitions... I'm hoping it's just rumour about Franco but it seems strange that he didn't figure at all at Hull there were 7 days between that game and Sunderland so maybe 20 mins as a sub....4 days until Boxing day...so time for recovery we have protected players under offer before

Agreed, he's a natural leader, he would fire the team up, he wouldn't let players drop their effort levels.
More than pleased he's signed. I don't get the Franco hype has he really shone like a beacon in a mid table team that's made clubs sit up and say he's for us. He's a good player but would he command at this stage of playing in the championship a higher fee than we paid for him? Can't see it myself.

well it just might be other clubs had scouted him but we're unsure he would settle into EFL football and particularly the Championship..they light have seen enough of him in an average midtable side as you outnit to now take the risk

Nope I've been told that, I've never met him, but been told that he's a good lad him and his family regard Swansea has their home and have no wish to leave, heard exactly the same from Tatey when I met him at Newquay, he considers himself a Jack and ain't moving from Swansea.
