It does make you wonder what the swans do on the training ground all week. I watched the Gunners last night and their simple 10 yard passes went straight to feet 90% of ours are either short or 10 feer behind or 10 ft in front and all momentum is lost whilst the receiver has to get it under control |

Then in is the difference, quicker in foot, thought and vision , which makes it more galling to see how far behind we as a Club have fallen , 8 years in the PL and not making up the number but competing , yesterday we couldn't compete against a side who was sitting bottom of the league without a win in how many . Liverpool and in some parts Spurs were a joy to watch and after that performance who can bet against them winning the PL. | |

We used to play long balls under Brendan and Laudrup. Williams would often play a 40-50 yard ball to the wings, but he could do it fairly accurately. These days we just shuffle it around, fearing anything longer than 15 yards.
