Thank you Nigel Farage 10:22 - Dec 20 with 6825 views | johnlangy | Now that's a thread title I never thought i'd create. I said to my wife a number of times over the last five years or so that soon there's going to be a revolution in this country. And not one with bullets, barricades and beheadings. And Reform could very well be that revolution. Millions of people are finally saying i'm not taking this any more. Whatever colour of government is elected 98% of us are essentially shat on. No matter how much money there is there's never enough to pay a huge number of people enough to live a decent life because 'the country can't afford it' while at the same time the 1 or 2% at the top have money thrown at them because they are the people at the top. I'm not a Reform voter but i'm sure many millions more will become Reform voters over the next 4 years up till the next election. And for no other reason, I believe, than they are not Labour or Conservatives. They've got no policies that i'm aware of other than cutting immigration and what they are saying about that seems to be ridiculous. But people don't seem to care. They've just had enough. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Thank you Nigel Farage on 15:02 - Feb 7 by SullutaCreturned | I'd rather vote Plaid than Labour or Tory. I suspect there could be quite a few others feeling that way. It may depend on "Rhyn's attitude to independence. If he tones that down and concentrates on the really important stuff he may get the support. |

Farage wants to turn the NHS into an insurance based system where you pay in to be covered. Do you really want that ? Its not about better patient outcomes. Its to get money into the hands of his wealthy mates. You cant be this out of touch surely ? I know you have had a few bangs on the head, obviously, but i do not believe that you woukd support this. Every previous privatisation has gone badly wrong, worth keeping in mind. Your beloved Nigel is a Spiv. [Post edited 8 Feb 9:45]

That proves my point. The privatisation has failed and its being handed back to welsh govt. Health care should never be run for profit. It says … ‘Earlier this month, Morgan said she was "deeply concerned" about claims that doctors had not been paid and patients were unable to get appointments at surgeries managed by eHarley Street. In November, BBC Wales revealed locum doctors were refusing to work at Welsh surgeries managed by the company because of claims they were owed around £250,000 in unpaid wages. Doctors also warned of "dangerous" staffing levels and "potentially catastrophic" supply shortages at practices supported by the GP management company. All of the claims were denied by eHarley Street, who have previously said they were "committed to addressing these challenges". | ![](/images/avatars/9736.gif) |

Farage is the result of decades of inadequate government in wales, the uk and the EU. The systematic selling off of our countries assets, the worship of ‘the markets’ at all costs and the supine devotion to neoliberal policies. He clearly isnt the answer but hes stepped into a vacuum and made a niche for himself. The cold hard fact is if government in this country has functioned for the benefit of the nation for the last few decades there would be no place for people like him, but it hasn’t and here we are. | ![](/images/avatars/29499.gif) |

Hopefully if Reform are successful in the next elections it will change the mindset of the British public. Conservatives and Labour have been an absolute disaster and are just trying to do the opposite of each other and not what is best for the British/Welsh public. Reform are not the answer long term, but if it gives politics the kick up the backside it needs it's good for me. We have been taken for granted for to long. | ![](/images/avatars/9155.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

What I’d like to see WR, is instead of people saying they’ve had enough of the major parties and going to vote Reform because anything must be better, that they start challenging Reform about what they’re about. We shouldn’t have to go into the election blind, we should know what they intend to do. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Agree with that. The day the British public actually start thinking about the mainline parties then the sooner things will change. None of them care about us, only about how much they can make for themselves. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Nice to see that there's now a grudging acceptance that Reform could alter the mindset of many voters who traditionally voted for either main parties with a smattering of the smaller party's picking up the stragglers , now we see a new much welcomed party looking like it's upsetting the status quo and about time. But as Gwyn says they need to consolidate with policies which make sense ,are doable and right for everyone otherwise they are meaningless. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) |

Absolutely. The Reform manifesto/contract at the last election was totally unaffordable and unworkable. If anyone was elected on that basis the country would be in a terrible state. The performance of some of their MP's in Westminster has been laughable. The political reform we desperately need is for people to actually vote and for those votes mean something. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

I would suggest that Neil Kinnock is that man. Farage has had a lot of money from the EU but when he gets his pension it will aparently be around 73 k, Kinnock gets 83k now, probably more because that is several years old. Kinnock got 277k per year for 3 years when he finished with the EU and his public pensions have paid out over 8 million, Farage is worth about 3.2 million, allegedly. Neil Kinnock who wanted to abolish the house of lords and was anti EU, he is the bigger hypocrite. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
