Thank you Nigel Farage 10:22 - Dec 20 with 6193 viewsjohnlangy

Now that's a thread title I never thought i'd create.

I said to my wife a number of times over the last five years or so that soon there's going to be a revolution in this country. And not one with bullets, barricades and beheadings. And Reform could very well be that revolution.

Millions of people are finally saying i'm not taking this any more. Whatever colour of government is elected 98% of us are essentially shat on. No matter how much money there is there's never enough to pay a huge number of people enough to live a decent life because 'the country can't afford it' while at the same time the 1 or 2% at the top have money thrown at them because they are the people at the top.

I'm not a Reform voter but i'm sure many millions more will become Reform voters over the next 4 years up till the next election. And for no other reason, I believe, than they are not Labour or Conservatives. They've got no policies that i'm aware of other than cutting immigration and what they are saying about that seems to be ridiculous. But people don't seem to care. They've just had enough.

Anti democratic you say. What about the political intelligentsia who refuse to accept the result of a democratic vote?

Wales has a proud record of never voting Tory in over 100 years.

The progressive vote in wales is 65 to 70 per cent.

The only way Reform can win largest is the progressive vote gets split labour, plaid, green and libs.

Farage and Reform are using Wales like he used Clacton.
Farage more interested in Trump than being a hard working constituency MP.
Zero real interest in Wakes, i thought voting Brexit was to save Port Talbot ?

Currently Reform have 5 MPs and Plaid have 4 MPs.
The General election was less than a year ago.

Dont be duped.

Time will tell, I'm very relaxed about it.

Myself , just another everyday person , fed up of the lies, deceit and the myriad of other negative adjectives I could use to describe the sink hole which the UK has become, reduction is knife crime , lied to about taxes not going up ,protecting the elderly , getting a grip on immigration, gas and electric prices to fall, end of sleaze in politics, increasing GDP on our armed forces, any apologist for Labour care to comment or defend the above .

You are not really just another every day person though, are you ?.

You regularly post right wing views, and fair enough, but 91% of Veterans from the Main Political Parties are Conservatives.

Its not surprising you hold these views, but they do not represent the views of just an ordinary bloke.

Sorry to break it to you.

The progressive parties simply need to expose Reform.
Its not hard.

However with BBC and X normalising the right on a daily basis then its game on.
Post truth politics in the States has not helped.

I now class myself as right wing .
Somebody want to argue the toss, bring it on .
Never have we needed a “ far right” party
Far right ,now,is for normal ,hard working folk whose voices are not heard

We settled the argument against right wing politics some time ago.

Enough because it has never ended well.

The amount you post trying to justify your views it seems to me that you lack confidence in any future election result. Justifiably I might add.

Are you saying that no tory voter could be an ordinary bloke? It doesn't surprise me, you make things up to suit your narrative.

I don't see how anybody could vote for Farage but even so, he has quite a large audience, more than Plaid Cymru for sure.

I thought the uk voted leave and we exited the EU ?

I mean there was no plan or anything as Johnson recently confirmed, but i can confirm that there was a single vote and the uk left.

Farage had 1 more MP than Plaid in last years GE.

Right wing blame game politics is on the rise though.
Complex issues boiled down to 3 word slogans for the hard of thinking.

Farage said in 2016, vote Leave and take back control of our borders.
Fail, fail, fail.

Why would anyone trust him for a second time 9 years later ?

There are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraqi , unproven claims by a charlatan .

Into the mix his Human Rights lawyer wife , the seemingly innocent partner in his tenure .

Floodgates to mass immigration into the UK , total loss of control and all welcome .
Sadly Starmer has with all his pathetic pledges and agendas , both from the same views .

Kemi Badenoch is now the latest to have a go at stemming the flow , good luck there luv .
Priti and Richie failed dismally , you have a go if you get in .

The Don is sending the baddies to Guantanamo bay or even Centro Prision , El Salvador .

Read up about that particular establishment earlier , BBC verified , not a holiday home .

One of the unmetionable topics keep under the carpet for fear of the racism card pulled .

Some female footballer on the News earlier , sat in a Police Station looking a right chav on the video tape , claiming hey it was a racist thing yet again . Pathetic .

Certainly the mood is changing in Wales , those championing Labour and the Tories may get to see their heroes get a bloody nose come 2026 .

Because of the failure of Conservative and Labour policies stretching back to Blair’s tenure. Farage was never in power then…..that may change in the near future. Until then you can only pass judgement on the parties who were culpable for this mess.

Vote Plaid if you want progressive change in Wales.

You are voting for the coal mine owner types if you vote for Farage.

Pne more MP equates to a bigger audience, that you for agreeing.

It's not just the right wing playing the blame game, those not wearing blinkers can see this quite clearly.

He is still pushing immigration as a major problem, look at Reform policies, he agrees what has happened is a failure, copy and paste into your search bar....

assets.nationbuilder.com/reformuk/pages/253/attachments/original/1718625371/Reform_UK_Our_Contract_with_You.pdf?1718625371

Why does anyone trust politicians, greedy, self serving liars. The question still is WHY do people still vote Tory or Labour when they have both failed for decades. Even worse, they come in and change evertyhing done by the other, even ripping up something good because they didn't do it. We don't need more political dogma, we need pragmatists, senseible, logical people and instead of Rachel Reeves we need a properly qualified economist to run the UK finances. What she is about to do re pensions could be an awful move.

I'd rather vote Plaid than Labour or Tory. I suspect there could be quite a few others feeling that way. It may depend on "Rhyn's attitude to independence. If he tones that down and concentrates on the really important stuff he may get the support.
