If you are retired and can get a flight that suits Cardiff is a great option, but sadly that’s often not the case. If the WG could get control of passenger duty like Scotland has, they could cut the long distance taxes and potentially open up some really good earners.
I flew from Bristol last week where they are spending a huge amount of money on upgrading facilities, but it wasn’t a great experience. I had a pint and it cost over £8. |  | |  |

I am retired, and do use Cardiff whenever I can, £7.50 a pint when I last flew from there, it could really do with Jet 2 or EasyJet |  |
