Swansea City v Sunderland : Match day thread on 10:34 - Dec 14 by onehunglow | Well, isn’t there kids fit a pound scheme ? I feel many kids would rather stay in their room playing on their devices . It’s their lifestyle It’s their life They cannot live without them. The entertainment they crave is on a screen That’s a modern day fact It’s horrible |
Streaming is an extension of that and it’s hurting clubs everywhere. Far easier to watch from your lounge than make the effort. I’m guilty of it. Home games are easy for me, but I go away less than I did before I could watch every game.

It’s a two edged sword isn’t it I’ve not missed a game in seasons really . Travelling down to home games is a pain now ,personally, for us but I do go to away games but less than I used to. However ,we are old sweats and the young bloods should be carrying the flame . Less are . We’ve been with this club for many years . We were born of a time when it really was part of you . It was family . It really was .

Well I haven’t missed a game if you count ones I didn’t go to Seriously though, I get what you’re saying and there’s merit to it, but it was much easier for people to go to games decades ago when football teams were community hubs and there was far less to do. It’s hard to really blame youngsters who never experienced that kind of camaraderie and can watch every game from home.

Not every game, they are few and far between. Today is a £1 day, but with 10 days to Christmas and a very tough time for families there won't be much of an uptake.

It’s fair comment I do feel for todays “ kids” Not because I am a crusty ol fooker but because for the world we live in . Young folk may have access to it all but they have been denied learning the more prosaic ,rudimentary pleasures of life and going to football games as a group was what we were fortunate to experience . I look around now and feel sorry for them Tied to a piece of electronics inextricably and it’s getting worse for them. I don’t “ blame” them as such Anyway,we are going to beat Sunderland today and their legions of fans will have a long miserable trip beach to the North East. Please

To get back on thread and following on from your last point, I feel the only way we stand a good chance of beating them is if they go toe-to-toe with us. If they sit back I dot think we’ve got that cutting edge yet to break them down. Or if we have, we need some encouragement such as going a goal down a la Portsmouth. Our home form is a bit of a concern.

Good performance overall, but we have been a little negative and brought risk on ourselves with some of the back passing. Key isn't having his best game, and has looked like he might give the ball away in dangerous positions a couple of times.

We make it hard for ourselves Just don’t understand the tippy tippy stuff which we still do Key is very much inclined this way Tymon is just erratic and very one sided It’s a simple game but basics are vital. Their goal, classic of bad defending basics This is what coaches shouod improve
