Lets be fair they're a complete non entity, the club just play them lip service and let them have a few soft seats a blanket and a vol au vent to keep up the pretence that they are important, the Fans couldn't careless about them after what they did in destroying all the good work the previous Board had done. A complete non entity to most apart from the one who's obsessed and another complete non entity.

I’m unsure where they see themselves in the bigger picture.

The previous board presented them with a strategy that would have destroyed Swansea city You favour legal action and a best case of giving huge money from the convertible loan note to faceless people in South East England with no interest in football. Many members think like you and that is why they are not to be trusted with power. [Post edited 1 Dec 15:25]

I'm not either they completely turned their backs on the fans, for the comfy seats, they've destroyed everything that the Trust were in existence for. Shameful and should be disbanded, nobody actually knows what they do anymore, the real Trust were gradually ousted by this lot, its a disgrace, for all the real fans, The one on here who keeps harping on, is clueless about the subject like most things despite being told the truth and with the evidence to back it up numerous times, but with his attention seeking and trolling will never accept anything.

My perception is far closer to the truth than yours. I called their strategy poor 8 years ago and have been proven correct. Hard cash give them clout and when buyers were circling in 20115 they decided they did not want the money on offer and did not ask the member their view. The members did not demand a vote. Truth be told they probably never given it a thought. They wanted "protection" at a level of 25% with the influence the 25% gave them. They have settled for 5% and a place on the board.

Please get your facts right..... In 2015 the Trust were not happy to sell to the John Moores consortium after doing some due diligence. As a result the other shareholders then omitted the majority shareholder ie the Trust from further sales discussions before it was too late. Phil Sumbler is on record to say that there were open to negotiations at that time but was not contacted and you seem to forget that Jason himself made the admission that Huw et al had told them to disregard and ignore the Trust. Please let it rest the Trust as it was is dead it's a supportes club now created by those that followed the board that had the true ideals of the Trust .....we are now entering a new phase of ownership let's stop bringing up events of 8 years ago stop looking back and let's look forwards

The Trust board member emphatically stated their position. Their share were not up for sale adding for the record " they never would be" . No one in the Trust contradicted this in February 2015. Levien and co were in Swansea a few months later looking at the club and no doubt were made aware of this. As I understand it they needed a mandate from the members to sell and had made no moves to get this mandate.

We have had three sets of owners since then, even the owners have moved on.
Portsmouth Matchday Prog: The Trust on 20:56 - Dec 1 with 290 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Posters are right to point out it was a decade ago and it is time to move on. In the 23 years of the Trust 2015-2016 were the most important. At that time they needed to act. They wanted to carry on as before but that was not an option. The fall of the Trust from being respected to today's of being less relevant are defined by this two year period. They won the pools but did not submit their ticket.

Rumination is when you’re stuck in a loop of repeated negative thoughts about the past, and you can’t seem to stop even if you want to.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the Trust argument ( and I do not claim to have any deep knowledge or opinion on the subject ) what happened in the past cannot number reversed. Just as the decision by the then owners to sell cannot be reversed. Both are past events in the club's history and it serves no purpose to rehash the discussions of "If this happened and that happened" We can only hope that the current ( and future ) owners do not make the same error and pass the club on to highly unsuitable owners
