Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby 08:00 - Nov 28 with 1215 views | SwansIndependent | Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby 28th Nov 2024 08:00I am going to make no apologies for this match report. The win was deserved, but how it came about after so many poor performances in the second half I will never know. I haven’t been watching football as long as some and I am delighted of course the Swans got the points. However, we have seen teams do that to us for a few seasons. Just maybe for once it was our turn ? 0 If you want to remove this post from the board index, just click the hide post icon below. Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby on 08:43 - Nov 28 with 1127 views | 3swan | No apologies needed, the report is 100% correct. I watched the game on TV and nearly lost my voice by the end of the game. Apart from the first 20 minutes it was a dreadful performance where consistently our problems were self inflicted

agree 3 swan good report from the site, but a good 3 points this is a trait that has been there the whole season sorry to say a good half a good 60 min then hang on, no consistancy for the full game and beyond, having said that Derby is a very hard place to go and with this being only the second game they have lost at home shows the effort is going in and getting better, but we still do not seem to be able to play for the full game in the way we have in spurts, i wish i knew why, BUT well done lads a fab 3 points and well done ALL the away support great to hear you ,
Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby on 09:57 - Nov 28 with 974 views | Dr_Winston | Last night we "won ugly". Against Leeds we played much better and lost. I'd prefer the former. Derby are no mugs and I think we're doing them a bit of a disservice by focusing so much on our own performance. If we looked edgy on the ball it's mostly because they worked so hard at not allowing us to settle. Yes, there are things we could and should have done better and it's even more obvious that the supply line to our forwards needs beefing up. Some genuine pace on the flanks would have given us an out ball and them something to think about rather than being able to press at will.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Honest report It was just like that Derby might not be mugs but they are not exactly much to be feared

Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby on 10:30 - Nov 28 with 885 views | raynor94 | Derby had only lost once at home before tonight and scored in 15 successive home games, so no surprise they put us under the cosh. We defended well, yes it was ugly at times, but we had that bit of luck we didn't have against Burnley and Leeds, a good 3 points

Everyhting, or almost everything that Derby were allowed to do was asa result of Swansea making mistake after mistake. I agree with Liam 100%.

As my humble self has stated. Why is it that sone cannot accent critical reviews of something without seeing it as an invitation for literal warfare What staggers me is the la k of true respect for Franco, his first season in EDL and one who is always subbed when others don’t deserve to share the same grass . The lad is amazing It’s also the case last night that was another game we could have lost had it not been for Larry. Rose tinted glasses are not what we want and I’m sure the new regime won’t wear them either Saturday should see us out Pompey to sleep

As you’ve pointed out it is his first season at this level. With the amount of ground he covers he does tend to tire in the later stages. I’d be fairly sure that the sports science monitoring will have an input so that we don’t have a player in burn out.

Clive. Even when tired,he is Sureky more effective than any of those who sub him. It’s a brave and brilliant report from Liam . I see no posts at all disagreeing with him It was as it was. We are not learning. Clearly

He might be more effective, but we don't see the data (I don't like using that). By pushing him through more games might result in him missing a few altogether.

Morning C Decent reply. Data is for statisticians Goals win games What should concern us is why we persist with ludicrous two yard passes from our goal line when already under pressure It’s not negative as “ some “ say to be alarmed at this . The way we play like this is utterly negative

Swansea City turn the tables on their bad luck & beat Derby on 11:53 - Nov 28 with 628 views | vetchonian | Good wll written piece as to your question at the end ....who knows thos os football....for once the football gods were smiling on us. Yes we made mistakes how much of this was a result of tiredness form Sundays 96 minutes against Leeds where the ream ran their legs off and worked hard to try to get a result. Yes we surrendered a lead in that game and gave away a draw ....but at least we were trying. who knows why we end up making so many mistakes , is it ability?, confidence?, tactics? What would we be saying if we had controlled possesion kept the ball yet lost to a breakaway or silly goal as we have seen several times this season? At the end of the day we won .....sometimes it doesnt matter how....especially when wins have been few and far between. Once again thank you for a good report and making that journey on a crap midweek night . Keep it up Liam....your reports stimulate discussion whilst being on the nail

His report was brilliant There again, probably so because I saw it the same way Not negative in any way but the truth The first 15 mins showed we can play and with real elan We were very good against Leeds who killed us at the end when we thought we’d done enough I can hear the plump lady in the red dress practising her scales
