It is not about going into defensive mode it is about bypassing the opposition's press, cutting out the forced mistakes while also ensuring we don't get caught on break as often as we do and did against Leeds.
Leeds fans were full of praise for our style of play as opposed to Burnley who parked the bus according to them and yet Burnley won their game against them we didn't, twice we got ahead in the game and once we managed to level the game because they were unable to defend against us properly but we played straight into their hands conceding four also not defending properly and not reacting to the dangers they possessed. Don't think Leeds fans would have been so gracious if they had drawn or lost the game.
Derby away from home,they will come at us and we can catch them on the break or by good play and passing but we have to defend properly when needed. | | | |
