I think you can not underestimate the damage the current owners have done to the club and in particular the connection between the club and supporters. Yes we have a change coming, but supporters will want to see a beneficial change before the relationship will improve. I don't just mean player acquisition and spending money, but the visibility of a long term plan, openness and honesty are needed and this could start today. |  | | |

To think that the actions of the owners has no impact on attendances is nieve in the extreme. There are many reasons that people no longer attend style of football is only one, your reason and valid. But I still know some that vowed never to return while the "Yanks" are in charge. Others have said "they won't see a penny of my money apart from my ticket price". Supporters will need to see a change before returning. | | | |

The style is fine, we’re just completely lacking in the final third, both in terms of creativity and a striker.
It wouldn’t take a world beater. Paterson, Ntcham or Celina would all improve us dramatically. As would practically any championship striker. | | | |

That's a crazy statement, the quality of entertainment is directly linked to quality of players and the owners are directly responsible for the amount we have spent.
The owners have everything to do with EVERYTHING that goes on at SCFC. The owner chooses the manager/coach, they decide the budget.
OS, not to forget that for at least 2, myself and my son, we didn't renenw our season tickets as a direct reaction to how the then owners were running the club...running it down. [Post edited 19 Nov 15:35]

If you go back in time over many years our attendances were ok in promotion years but for the last few games there would be sell outs as fans wanted to say they were there....if we start to rise towards the play off spots our attendances will rise although SKY may have a say in that. | | | |

Swansea City have made it very hard to buy tickets for this fixture.
To buy tickets you need to have set up an account and purchased tickets in the past.
No new accounts can be set up to try and buy tickets for this game.
I guess the idea is to stop Leeds fans buying in the home sections.

Even ST holders like myself are hard pushed to go most games.
Trouble is even when the team starts doing a little better, the overhaul feeling of one step forward two steps back that the owners have forced us to endure the past 8 years or so takes the enthusiasm out of attending.
Hopefully once the Yanks are gone we will see a change in momentum and with it attendance |  |

A lot of our fans have never seen the really bad times. They weren't there to watch us battle against dropping to the conference, they weren't there before that to watch us fight from Div to the 1st and drop back again.
A lot of our fans have only known relative success and being in the Championship still counts as relative success against where we were in the early 70's or in the early 2000's.
The biggest difference these days is the ownership models, that's what affects fans the most. A lot of clubs these days are owned by foreigners with no links to the area or the club and when they do a bad job and show no interest in doing anything better the fans don't feel inclined to pay a lot of money and give their loyalty to these overseas, faceless people. | | | |
