Türkiye v Wales : Just two more games to go, it is very much achievable 13th Nov 2024 09:00

The second with a 7:45pm Kick at home on Tuesday against Iceland. The 32,000 ish capacity at Kaide is the home of Kayserispor and Kayseri Erciyesspor, utilising the complex accordingly. The game kicks off at 5pm UK time. 0

Nations League, Türkiye v Wales : Team News 16th Nov 2024 13:37
It’s the crucial Nations League tie in Kayseri, Türkiye this afternoon (KO 5pm) Wales have at their disposal a squad very much capable of winning this fixture. If they do they go top of their League B group with one game to go. 0

Wales TEAM NEWS Cabango starts 19th Nov 2024 08:00
It’s the final game of this Nations League campaign for Wales later tonight in Cardiff (KO:745pm) It’s an interesting tie for a number of reasons. 0

Hungary or the Scots would do us in the play offs.

That’s what I was thinking too, but I wouldn’t take anything for granted. I’d love to play the Scots and smash them as a little payback for previous matters (not that anything will ever undo the hurt Joe Jordan caused) but they’ve had Lady Luck on their sides when they’ve faced us in the past and I fear that combination again tbh. Defo don’t want the Serbs or Belgium.

We’ll be underdogs against any of them.

If this is where we are, borderline line between the top and second tiers in Europe, I’m happy with that.

Scotland in the playoffs, oh I would love a hotly disputed winner, yes I am still bitter.

A couple of days by the Danube will do me.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

From the Independent.

We’re expecting the line-ups to be released at around 6.30pm, so here’s a quick reminder of the team news...

Craig Bellamy has no new injury concerns after the draw against Turkey, so all that remains to be seen is whether he opts for a tactical change of personnel against Iceland.

The back four will likely remain the same, with Joe Rodon and Ben Davies trusted at centre-back alongside Neco Williams and Connor Roberts. In midfield, Jordan James and Josh Sheehan could anchor again in the absence of Ethan Ampadu.

Brennan Johnson and Harry Wilson’s recent performances have likely cemented their places in the side, though Dan James could replace Sorba Thomas on the left wing.

Mark Harris started at centre-forward in the draw last week, though Lewis Koumas and David Brooks will both hope they did enough to play themselves into contention for a starting place.

Wales have made four changes to the side that drew in Turkey. In goal, Danny Ward replaces Karl Darlow, while in defence they move to a three-at-the-back, with Ben Cabango coming in for Connor Roberts.

In midfield, Jordan James and Sorba Thomas drop out in favour of Dan James and Liam Cullen, with the latter moving into the three upfront.

6 out of the 11 are jacks.
Add Harris as a Swansea boy 7

Bellamy is a jack in disguise 🥸

Seriously never been so proud looking at a Wales team.

I am going for Liams first goal.

Wales 3 Iceland 1

Good question.

Crowd quiet, poor atmosphere.

Wales needs the crowd to be the 12th man. Contrast this to the Turkey support last game..

Darlow played well on Saturday, should have never brought ward back.

Isn’t Darliw only just back from injury? Maybe Bellamy under some instruction to not overplay him.

Dunno, I wouldn't he surprised though.

The starting 11 shows our lack of depth, we are missing sorba and JJ, these two would give us more pace and trickery in sorba and more control in the centre of midfield.
