It will be a slow rebuild to undo all the damage the Yanks have done.
One bonus is ( as far as I understand) we are not in a mountain of debt

Many questions will still need answering as it's always in the detail.
Will there be a change of direction.
How much of that £20m is still needed to cover day to day losses.

It's a fine balance mate. The club have a long way to go in re engaging with supporters and generating enthusiasm. Just because hopefully we have an input of funds, I'm not expecting a major influx of players in January. Money will need to spend on running costs on top of everything else. Sort out players contracts, get in a decent DoF and and a bit of fine tuning in January and I will be happy. Great news to brighten a dull a dreary day , but slowly slowly catchee monkey . We're still competing and with a few tweeks here and there then hopefully we can start looking forward again. I have to admit that the last few seasons have become a chore in as much we've seen our hopes rise each transfer window but with the odd exception yet another realisation the old owners had no interest in the Club at all, at least now the new ownership have had a look at the books and had some insight into what needs or not needs doing. | |

We have to be careful about profit and sustainability. As we've seen with Newcastle, a takeover doesn't necessarily lead to massive spending, nor should it. A renewed sense of purpose, joined up decision making and everyone pulling in the same direction will be a big boost.
If they are going to commit to long term expenditure, I'd rather investigate possibility of returning the academy to Cat 1 status. |  |

Just take the examples of Potter, Cooper and Martin and the likes or Dan James,Joe Rodon, Connor Roberts and Alfie Mawson all achieve a level of success and maybe by staying a little longer with us to gain to the needed experience to progress their career, the likes of Cabango and Darling and Key take time to consider their positions, will expect some outgoings maybe that can be deferred a season if an upturn in events is perceived. | | | |

It could be termed as a "Management buyout". No one knows the club finances better than Coleman who thinks he can do a better job than the remote Kaplan and Levien.
I did not know Coleman had big funds. Caricatures of him being a puppet were clearly false . Coleman might have argued for more funds and explained the huge potential to Levien. Levien might have answered "buy my shares if you think it is so great" .
That is what he has done. Reasons to be cheerful. He has been here for 18 months and fancies himself to meet the challenge. I back him all the way. Welsh people like this are few and far between. [Post edited 8 Nov 11:47]

The timings of those outgoing can be crucial to the people involved and the club in terms of extra experience gained and a better amount of money for the club. Connor Roberts seemed as if he could have left earlier but didn't he held off and stay longer thinking promotion was possible and Dan James went for more than the initial price and I thought gain a lot more first team experience.
We have seen the trend of players being allowed to run their contract down and in the case of Ntcham wanted away as soon as possible leaving us with two big holes to fill after the expected loss of Piroe looks as if we will have another two unless the forseen changes impact of players descions. | | | |

You know you're implying here that Williams isn't a decent coach. 
I think sometimes people are looking for trouble that isn't there. We will always be an attractive proposition for any ambitious young coach. Maybe the financial deal wasn't there for Davies, he wanted a different type of challenge, or any number of other reasons.
