Tap in of rebound off the bar, but in the right place at the right time. He had only come on four minutes before, just as Dhanda went off for Hearts.

Only a tap in , but his movement all around the box was top drawer, and deserving his reward. Everything that Vipo, Yates etc do not have in their locker. What a loss to us!

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

K misses a sitter, albeit after controlling a through ball with skill, but now Hearts equalise.

Edit. It wasn't K but his co-striker who missed the chance, so he is blameless. Mistaken identification.

Think Cullens header yesterday was our nadir

He should have been loaned out and the Uke kept

Is the Uke difficult ?

Another one?

Maybe these types are players not afraid to speak back to cretinous coaches

Seeing as Keith has stated we had to move on the guy who has two goals in nine games in Scotland in order to sign Franco and Eom, I’d say that’s a fairly accurate statement.

I think Williams is well down a philosophical cul de sac. Back in the day Brendan dispatched Kuqi and Beattie and brought in Borini then Graham . Laudrup sold Graham for whatever reason pushing Michu up top. The club then gave him Bony.

Williams is now on trouble having put his faith in " true jack" Cullen paddling in the deep end with no answers. His clever players cannot pick the lock. They cannot open the door with the fake keys having gone SEVEN and HALF hours. Now they have to try something else and smash the door down with brute force.

Teams cannot come to Swansea and not have their collar felt by these nice polite fellows.

Finances mate. And boy do we need to save money at the Swans.

Mykola is saving the club around 27k a month. 270k ish until the end of the season.

Yates, 40k a month, that’s another 440k for the loan period.

Congreve, J.Thomas, Cotterill, Cadogan won’t make that much of a dent but overall I bet it all adds up to 20k a month for all.

Another 200k. ish, we have no idea what they are on.

All players are having their salaries paid as well. Good business there for me. The fact Mykola went out on loan with hardly any opportunity to make an impact on the first team is more than annoying.

He spent a lot of time on the bench at the end of last year and players who really struggled to make an impact were used instead of a player that seem to fit the requirements that the fans could see was missing on the pitch.

There were a number of telling omissions and exits in Martin's first year which seem to be concerted effort to force players away from the club to seriously reduce the wage bill, even Cooper had players sold allegedly behind his back.
Giving the financial restrictions put in place why were the likes of Yates and Kuharevich bought by a club that obviously couldn't afford them?

The only player who didn't look like an amateur against Wycombe, we were done by getting Pederson we needed a left sided defender at the time but not one prone to so many injuries, between Martin and Williams we have also picked some stupid centre half partnerships in cup games trying to give youngsters a chance and end up making them look really bad.

I get it Keith. The squad quality deteriorates year on year, albeit with the odd spike when we unearth a gem on the cheap, like we did with Piroe.

If there’s no change in ownership structure, it looks set to decline dramatically next season. There will still be the odd one or two arguing that the owners are supporting the manager and blaming him for the inevitable struggles on the pitch.

£4m wasted.
Who’s fault?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Agree you may be able to get away negotiating lower contracts with older players who feel some affinity with the club or are settled in their comfortable life styles in the Swansea area but younger players will.be gone if they feel they can get better elsewhere. Piroe, Manning, Latibeaudie, Wood and even older ones like Ntcham and Paterson are just some example all not prepare to stay given what they were being offered. Money will needed to be spent as both players and supporters leave in numbers. Cannot see the present setup able or willing to do that, the club was bought to make the investors money which while being clever enough to get new investors they have devalued most of the existing shareholders investments, can they afford to devalue that anymore?
Think we have been in that situation before the need for new investors to be found do they buy some of the existing shareholders which wouldn't actually bring any money into the club unless they were prepared to spend more money to create revenue streams or raise the quality of the product being sold to everyone, the present owners or runners of the club seem to disaffected investors, supporters, players and managers. Until there is change the present owners we will see our best players leave, Cabango, Darling, Eom, Ronald, Franco and Key even our youngsters seem to see their future elsewhere. Will the club make a profit on some players, yes but not the ones previously made for it.
There was a thought that the downward spiral had been stopped but given the continued problems with players contracts and player quality that may not be the case.

It makes you ponder the question due to Martin’s last league position before he was sacked that some of those players ‘could’ have stayed. Ntcham especially.

One theory some would say is ‘possibly that was a part of the bigger picture, get rid of Martin and the likes of those who left last year who were valuable for a promotion push may have stayed seeing progression had he not left’ In one case that’s most certainly the reasoning for one player leaving. Especially when they heard the new head coach was Michael Duff. And let’s not forget those who did leave had already seen and been a part of Duff’s training methods as they left in August.

The club seem to be getting somewhere, but once again it is being dismantled due to personal grievances, so the players are left with no option. Get me outta here. That’s happening again for me.

The player sold behind Coopers back was Kristian Peterson.
He was very unhappy having played 17 minutes of football for Cooper .

Cooper picked him as (unused) sub and the players was very unhappy. He and his agent had found a club in Germany prepared to pay a fee and KP refused to play. It was the end of the window and Winter made a decision on a player the Cooper would not pick.
