Swans reaction : Luke seems to have run out of answers on 08:44 - Oct 27 with 1262 views | Whiterockin | I wasn't annoyed after the game just totally gutted in the way we lost. So many shots that didn't go in for one reason or another. The loud boos at the final whistle seemed to be aimed more at the club than the coach or players. The general consensus after the game was we couldn't have done more without scoring and as a club we are where we are.

But we lose like that because of our mindset and the way we set up and that is down to the man who picks the team ,having trained them everyday . It’s unforgivable I honestly believe we have enough talent to survive but we need a new coach desperately . We need to remove Grimes from the captaincy . We need to tie Franco down . This boy is the business .Bukd the team around him not Grimes Finally, the captain should allow our centre backs to do their job without hindrance . It really is ,or seems to be ( mostly) about Grimes and Williams .

You may well be right, but I can’t see them getting rid of him. The club paid “a substantial six figure sum” for is services in January and he signed a 3 1/2 year deal. If the club sacked him, they’d have to pay him off and then find someone else to take over. When he left Notts County they’d already scored 55 goals in half a season. I think the club will stick with him. [Post edited 27 Oct 10:38]

The woes at the club goes deeper than Williams do you think he's happy with his strike force? he's 100% not and he's trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. There's only one person responsible and he's never seen in Swansea, cause he doesn't care he's just intent on trying to run a Championship Club on shoestring with no ambition to push the club forward. Coleman has gone quite quiet these days and it seems that he is acting on instructions from across the pond. [Post edited 27 Oct 11:14]

Im as frustrated as you OHL but see it differently. Had we not created chances yesterday i would agree but despite your ravings Williams set up and tactics gotnus 19 chances but we havent the wherewith all to convert these to goals You yourself question as to why Cullen is on the pitch...but what else have we? The Championship is onenofnfine margins ...we deserced at least a draw....we lost because instead of playing slow moving of the ball via short passes from Vig to Daeling or Cabango our keeper decidednon a quick long ball which got intercepted.

He has u21 strikers who know where that elusive strange object 8 ft high x 24ft wide with a fishing net around it guarded generally by one man is.. Give them a go for heavens sake before it's too late.

L W and his coaching team have approx 5 days to sort the problems we all can see, but going with the same players doing the same thing is not going to improve the situation in my opinion, blind panic is not the answer either but there are lads in the under 21s who should at least be given a chance as it is what is there to lose? we all can see the limitations in midfield and the final third and we do not have the guys to complete the job so why not make some personnel changes give the lads a chance and just maybe we could get a result or 2, Even if we struggle to get to january not in the bottom 3 can any one see a change in our transfer bis, look at the last few windows, we have a wage cap people who could and will possibly walk away for free because their contracts are not sorted who would want to come here under those curcumstances ? these owners will not pay the champiomship rates for guys that would improve the first team, as the owners will not spend what brum are spending in the 3r div because they dont care . the chairman has said judge me on my action well all we seem to have is words and no action ,the people in D C have ruined our club and i for one with these owners cannot see any improvement in any futre under them rant over | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Well has it stands with marks from 0-10 where would you mark him so far, baring in mind that his hands are not doubt tied?

Yes, Vigouroux did that and it cost us but was he the only player to make a mistake? How many times has our keeper saved us already this season? Our defensive record is down to the keeper at least as much as his defence. Our attacking failures though, they are nothing to do with the keeper. 19 chances you say but the official stats say we had ZERO clear cut chances so maybe 19 attempts at goal is a better remark. What else have we, well why not try the U21's because they can't do any worse than not score. Lastly we didn't lose just because we conceded a goal. We lost because despite having 72% possession and 19 attempts at goal we cannot score even when we are very much on top. Mistakes will always happen and even a poor team will get a chance, other teams take their chances against us but we'd be lucky to hit the back of an open goal as things stand. So why not Kyrell Wilson or any other of the U21's who are doing well this season?
Swans reaction : Luke seems to have run out of answers on 11:58 - Oct 27 with 832 views | Whiterockin | Kuharevich on the bench today, seems he is not good enough for the pub league. Hang on it must be the coaches fault and nothing to do with the poor recruitment by his parent club.

Kuharevych and Vipotnik are 22 and will have ups and downs. Cullen is 25 three years older and is in the bench quite a bit. Josh Thomas is in the bench at Bromley and is 22. Both Kuharevych and Vipotnik have more potential. They both should be in Swansea grafting a BBC coming better rounded footballers. Neither Whittaker nor Gyorkeres at 21 -22 could get in Swansea team and neither were rated in Swansea. Both score goals for fun.

Yes, I'd go with 5.5 because he's doing his best with limited support and a squad lacking the quality to survive in the Championship. Our impending failure as a club is absolutely down to bad ownership. Williams MAY do ok if he had the support. That's not to say he definitely would do well but he'd have a chance. At the moment he has no chance.

Williams definitely moved up a point for me yesterday by trying 2 up front. Issue then was when they tire, as they would in modern 16 man football, who do you play up front.

The ownership has given Williams, a huge success at Nott s county, a plan to develop young hungry 22 yo footballers in Swansea. The lack of goals is down to him. He is the manager. He has options like getting Grimes further forward. Fulton can do the defensive stuff. Bringing in Wilson. Switching to a back three etc. Yates has scored 50 goals in the last three seasons but is better in a front two. Nothing to do with the ownership..

Snap, I wanted to see how others would rate him my first thought was a 3, but he deserves a little better than that 3 would be spiteful, so its a 5-6 for me as well.
