The protest 5 years ago before the Millwall game 22:14 - Oct 26 with 2632 views | builthjack | 1000 or so Swans supporters staged a protest against the clubs owners, marching from Castle gardens to the stadium. Lots laughed at them. Are they laughing now ?
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The protest 5 years ago before the Millwall game on 18:34 - Oct 29 by SullutaCreturned | The money wasn't available because the owners said no. Williams wanted to keep him, apparently. How is what Coleman decides "neither here nor there"? He is Williams boss, even if he is a glove puppet. We all choose what we want to believe but when 2 automatic first team choices are not signing deals and say they feel disrespected by the low offer, only a fool would deny the possibility they felt less than great about it. |
This is semantics. The statement was made that Swnsea "could not afford " Lowe s wage demands. They could afford Lowe's wage demands. I suspect Williams did not like this player the same way Martin did not like this player. Lowe runs at defenders. The club prefers static forward to get on the end of (non existent) crisp passing moves. Such moves are not easy to carry out. Cullen does not run with the ball and neither does Vipotnik. Lowe was not signed because of his age and playing style (and he scores too often*) If Cabango is 'insulted' at £5k a week then he needs counselling and guidance on humility. He is not disrespected of insulted. He knows he can squeeze out a bit more money for himself in negotiation. He is bright enough not to talk like that to a fellow in a pub of £1200 a month.

If the fellow in the pub is earning £1200 a month and his work colleagues doing a similar job is earning three times as much, I think he is the one that would be insulted. [Post edited 29 Oct 19:41]

There is nothing insulting or disrespectful about £4000k a week when the club is losing big money every week. "Too low and offer " explains it. The rest is spin.

Its a short career and it gets even shorter if a player gets a career ending injury, some people need to think before they post crap, 8k to 10k a week for a seasoned championship player is laughable in this day and age. [Post edited 29 Oct 22:56]

What you suspect and what reality is are often strangers. Maybe others can confirm if Williams wanted to keep Lowe but we know Weds made him an offer way out of our ballpark. bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cp9595gkkpeo#:~:text=Williams%2C%20meanwhile%2C%20says%20he%20would,said%20the%20Swansea%20head%20coach. Cabango can earn more money elsewhere and while I don't know what he's on right now I'd guess that it's more than 5k per week. If he has been offered a sizeable pay cut after being one of our best players this season then that is insulting in pro football terms. I also reckon that you saying he needs counselling is something he'd alsofind insulting and disrepectful. Now then, read the link, Swansea could not afford Lowe's wages because the bid by another club was much more than we'd pay. That is not semantics, that is fact. Yet again you are a stranger to facts, preferring your own fantasy. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

April 21st In Jamal Lowe’s case we have reported this season the main issue will be his salary, we understand it isn’t as high as people think, however the Swans are pushing their salary output downwards. Luke Williams has already stated his salary is too high. This reducing of certain salaries has been in effect for the past few seasons. April 28th Of course there must have been some form of contact, but what Jamal is referring to is a sit down face to face meeting to discuss if he has a future at Swansea. His agent is in receipt of offers from numerous clubs, and they will be more lucrative than the Swans can offer, but that isn’t the whole story. Jamal is thirty in two months, his late arrival into the game will have him some extra longevity as an athletic and pretty quick footballer. His goalscoring stats are decent, but Luke Williams has only really seen Jamal as a substitute recently. A huge impact player over the past month for sure. And that doesn’t fill us with confidence a deal can be brokered. And then this, which if it wasn’t accurate we would have heard from the clubs solicitors by now. Swansea offering average League One contracts, and lower 30th Aug 2024 22:15The shouting, guessing rumours, talking, writing and conjecture is over. Until January. The Swans now need to keep the bedrock of the defence retained. That is Ben Cabango and Harry Darling. And we will throw in Liam Cullen as well. Plus what about these salaries ? 0

Yes I have my own opinions and versions on past events. This is healthy with different opinions. It is Wales so natural for some to want to shut t you down. Keith is a journalist. Keith gives his interpretation of w events which is his right. I back him but do not believe everything he writes. He believes Levien holds a tight grip on the club affairs I doubt Levien even knows who Liam Cullen is. If he did and was a fan like me I would let Cullen walk and give the 5 grand a week to Cabango.

I'm fed up of this short career nonsense. Why should they be able to work for 15 years then retire? How about you, Max? How many years have you been working, can you afford to retire yet? When football finishes, get another job, it's what used to happen. Sportspeople are pampered asshats.

We back all our information up with sources who have awareness of numerous situations. I’ve explained how we do it last week. Especially our contacts who are working legitimate agents. People can choose whatever they want to believe. As I’ve said before, there’s a route to challenge our reports via a complaint to what was the ipcc. We’ve never had a complaint. I’ll leave that there.
