How to win friends and keep your customers happy 20:42 - Oct 18 with 969 viewsKeithHaynes

Ok, uncategorised tickets may be an issue. But do Blackburn have to threaten their supporters to the extent they may criminalise them ?

🤡 We would like to inform supporters that as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining fair access for all fans, ticket checks will be carried out for all concession tickets at this Saturday’s match against Swansea City at Ewood Park.

This includes checks on all senior, 18-23, junior and under-12 tickets.

Supporters should note that anyone found with a ticket purchased or being used under an incorrect age category will have their ticket confiscated and may be ejected from the stadium.

In such cases, individuals could also face a ban for the remainder of the season.

In certain circumstances, we may also ask for proof of identity.

Given these additional checks, we anticipate longer than usual entry times at the turnstiles.

To ensure a smooth and timely entry, we strongly encourage all supporters to arrive early.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a fair and enjoyable matchday experience for everyone.

What if you haven’t got ID?
Seriously they need to set up an ID system on their ticket app.
As this will piss off quite a few people.
In that area can they really afford to do it?
They have so many better clubs and stadiums around them .

Fleetwood , Blackpool 😬 🤣

Poll: Would you go all out for Conner Roberts free in the summer?

Going to our season tickets. All are paid in advance and counted in the official gate number if you turn up or not. Would it really matter if you had a concession season ticket and gave it to a non concession to go to the game. Doesn't seem an issue to me others may think otherwise.

Blackburn with their attendance figures need a lesson in customer service.

My lad is a big boy and until last season he was a youth ticket.
I have had our stewards mouth open saying no way but we were left alone.
The hassle this will bring will lose them custom.
They are seeing their fans as sheep and walking 💰.

Guaranteed they will end up losing way more if this is the policy they want to implement.

Just saying, it’s not the Swans though.

I’d hazard a guess that a significant number of our home season ticket holders are concessionary tickets. I’ve seen quite a few discussions going on at our turnstiles over the years about age & eligibility. Not saying what is wrong & what is right but the potential loss of income could well be significant when added up over the course of a season

Yes agreed, or would they go paying a higher price ?

My point though is the loaded threats by Blackburn to their supporters base, Inc pensioners etc.

Disgusting.

I doubt many would go if they had to pay the higher price. I don’t see a problem with people sharing tickets with friends & family when unable to attend.

Agree the threat of confiscation & bans is over the top. Probably not the best worded warning hopefully it was just intended as a deterrent
