The whole integrity of the game at stake? 17:01 - Oct 18 with 1172 viewsReslovenSwan1

This will be interesting. I recall an ex England footballer do something similar and he deflected it by turning it into a Ealing comedy farce with best laid plans going awry. I did not buy it but many did. That case revolved kicking the ball out of play at a predetermined time.

Deliberate bookings for betting fixing could lead to a severe penalty these days if found guilty.

The longest sentence I gave noted was a an ex Cardiff player who was banned for 4 years for drugs test offences after recreational drug use.

Sarcastic comments is the enemy of forums. Josh Iorwerth got 4 years relating to matters of a missed drug test. I do not recall this issue being covered before..

I saw hi. play for Barry Town v Swansea u21. This would appear to be far more serious.

I see your last contribution was the Wagatha gossip case. It figures I suppose.

Matt Lee Tissier mentioned kicking the ball into touch directly from the kick off just as spread betting come in, in his autobiography.

Shipperley who knew nothing about it kept it in, but you sussed out when it happened.

If the guy has issues with the reporting of his pending suspension or otherwise then he should complain to IPSO the governing body for press complaints.

I’ll put more on this tomorrow as a sticky.

This was extremely dodgy in my view and the media lapped up the comedy element. I do not believe them at all. How many other times did the fix things that are not identified.

"The longest sentence I gave noted was a an ex Cardiff player who was banned for 4 years" ...

Read up on footballer "Jimmy Gauld" - who was sentenced to 4 years in jail for match fixing, which included approx 9 other professional footballers who were also jailed at that same time - including an England international.

In total, 33 players were prosecuted in this 1960's match fixing case.

This case would also be the first time that taped evidence was admitted in an English court.

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Yes it needed research. It was just given as an example. In my opinion if found guilty a career long ban is appropriate. Sentences must be tough.

I do not want to be at important games and see Swansea players deliberately miss penalties or deliberately let in goals. When that happens the game is done
