Transferring ownership of your house to your son 16:38 - Oct 18 with 1790 viewsjohnlangy

Have any of you done this ? Or to your daughter of course.

What were the difficulties ? How much did it cost ? What advice would you give me ?

They are, but if you drew 20k out of an account they'd want to know what for or will probably ask where its gone if they ever asked you about sayings etc.

Saving that I use my debit card for everything these days, pay pal if I buy stuff online etc so they can find out anything, work vehicles are tracked etc as well, doesn't bother me if I need to pop anywhere after my work is finished I just do it, what I don't do is use it outside working hours, unless I get called out etc which isn't very often thankfully.

With Nat West it's 24 hours notice for up to £20,000 and 3 days notice for over £20,000.

It was just an hypothetical figure, but my point was that you could be asked what you did with any amount of money, if situations arose, my opinion is that your money is exactly that, meaning you could do anything you like with it and it shouldn't be questioned.

The last time I was asked that I looked at the cashier and said I’m going to the casino to put it on black or red. He smirked and I left with my cash. True story.
