Trump and British weapons 12:34 - Oct 14 with 1078 views | ReslovenSwan1 | In Ukraine the,UK has sounded out using the Storm Shadow in Russian territory. Challenger Tanks are already rumbling across the Kursk Iandscape. From what I have read and seen on line it appears UK cannot authorize their use on Russian topsoil without approval of the US President. Following on from this it could be Europe goes alone in supporting Ukraine after a Trump withdrawal. Clearly he could prevent Ukraine using these weapons anywhere. Following the logic is worrying as Trump could conceivably hold a control over UK Trident nuclear deterrent. Theoretically he could give Putin assurances the UK deterrent is under his control. The logic with the flakey behaviour of our US friends which is changing in it demographic profile is for a European military control and independence of US with UK part of a European military. The UK military have been staunchly against a European military army but things are changing fast with the US president more friendly with Putin than Starmer. Perhaps a Trump is a big time bluffer. Perhaps Corbyn was right? As a tax payer I see no point in a £100 billion missiles we cannot use with out US permission. The logic is with MAGA UK has to join a Euro Army .

The thing is though, somebody needs to do something very different in Ukraine to stop the daily killings. It needs a major change to save lives on both sides. If not Trumper, then who brings that change ….? The UK govt needs to be really careful not to get us dragged further into this mess. Putin is an old man (72) so we should wait him out. He wont be in power for more than 5 more years ….? Time is not on his side.

He's in perfect health as far as we know. The US could possibly elect someone who is even older. He is also extremely popular in Russia. Yes, there is opposition to him, but every country has that You wouldn't like his deputy Medvedev for sure. He's much younger and a hard liner

My point stands, the average man in Russia lives to 67.5 years. Putin will not be around as leader in 5 years.

The average man in russia isn’t a multi millionaire living in a massive palace eating the best food possible with an army of servants attending his every whim and a phalanx of health professionals checking every complaint and pain in a heartbeat.

You really don't understand Medvedev's role do you. He's playing the role of the angry Boyar whose "ideas" go a bit to far. This allows Putin to play the "infallible & reasonable" Tzar. Your ignorance is quite astounding.

There is a set structure for Russia to push the Nuke button and on at least two ocassions the officer in charge of making the decision has not done so. Russians want a nuclear holocaust as little as we do, so unless there really is a credible threat to actual Russian territory then I don't see it happening.

The most moral army in the world has killed over 20,000 children in Gaza alone in just one year. You don’t call Netanyahu a killer and butcher of innocents though. Your moral compass seems to have smashed

Look up Boyar and infallible Tzar and expand your understanding. Additionally, it wasn't a personal attack...I was just expressing my surprise that you had limited knowledge on a subject you post a lot about.
