Allen back in Wales contention? on 13:09 - Sep 26 with 2116 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Look at Ramsey who had " unfinished business" with Wales and ended up finishing off Cardiff city with silly wages stopping them getting a decent centre forward while getting treatment for weeks on end. Joe needs to play at least 20 games for Swansea.

We can't keep him fit for us and avoiding the extra toll onhis body was why he retired from internationals. It's entirely up to him but it will be bad for the Swans.

It is his decision and imo I think he will go for it. He's getting back to full fitness, the only reason he isnt starting, like he did for a lot of last season is because franco is ripping up trees. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Ateotd it's his decision, he isnt stupid, he knows his own body, if he decides to go then he's obviously happy with his fitness.

He knows his own body and that is why he retired. If he has second thoughts it means he is not sure about his body. He could feel he is not good enough for 90 mins for Swansea anymore and playing for Wales in better than 10 minute cameos. If he plays for Wales he will get injured. It is almost guaranteed as with Ramsey. Another issue is the fees the World cup organisers pay for clubs foe use of their players. Did Swansea not get £1m for Allen Ntcham and Cooper from Qatar WC? Then we would likely be in League 1 or below. What next - Should they ban International football ? No World Cups, No Euros. I would be pleased if every player of ours played International football.

He had just come back from injury at the wc, he should have never played, it fvcked his head up. Bellamy knows what he offers, he will want joey around the squad for his experience and he also knows that joey can only do cameos, if joey thinks he upto it he will go back, i for one won't blame him as no matter what some bellends on this forum say, there is nothing better than playing for your country 🏴❤️

Should they ban International football? No, but they could halve the number of fixtures quite easily. Qualifiers and tournament games only. No friendlies, no "Nations League". No player should get anywhere near 100 International appearances. FIFA and UEFA have profited from the clubs expensive recruitment and training of players for long enough.

10 games a year. Nations League is competitive. Keep it going. Agree about friendlies, but they are there to blood the youngsters. I guess you are either passionate about your country or you are not.

Nations League games are friendlies. I'm passionate about my club. The national teams come a distant second. I'd happily see Wales lose 10-0 every game if it benefited the Swans.

Yes they are. Couldn't care less what you think. Come crying the next time a Swans player is unavailable because he got injured earning FIFA/UEFA money,

No they are not. Well it would hardly benefit Swansea if Wales lost 10-0. So a ridiculous statement to make. I don’t cry.

It would make absolutely no difference in any way, shape or form to Swansea City if Wales lost 10-0. Only five players (out of 27) of the current first team squad are Welsh. Ten are English. Eleven if you count Vigouroux. What would benefit the Swans is if many of their players weren't dragged off multiple times mid season to play games that have no value to us for organisations that don't pay for the privilege.
