This is what I cannot stand. People like Pep anda Maresca creating a fake narrative and fans taking it on without any analysis of consideration.
Last season Pep put Rhodri on the pitch for almost every league game and gave him no rest at all. It is HIS JOB to keep his players fresh. He has a squad of full international players are have several easy wins where Rhodri could easily be rested. Pep chose to flog the player then say it's "up to the players" to protect themselves. No the narrative is fake it is HIS JOB.
