See our Northern mates committed footballing suicide yet again this evening. I marvel at what goes on between their ears to be honest.

Football tonight : Nations League on 10:29 - Sep 11 with 401 views | RichardO | Did anyone see the England game yesterday I only caught the last 30 minutes or so and thought Angel Gomes was outstanding in his defensive midfield role but on the BBC rating he had lower than a 3 out of 10 rating, did he have a shocking first 60 minutes because in that last 30mins he looked as if he had exactly the playing style we need.his movement off the ball was excellent, he was tenacious and nippy making himself and the ball available quickly. I'm sure Franco could play the role but that would mean a change within our Swansea ranks.

As boring as ever, as mundane as ever and they haven’t played anyone of note over the last two games. When they do the knives will be out again from the entitled supporters. They will never win anything.

As states in my initial post, luckily by the sounds I missed the first 60mins I was more interested in Gomes role given the type of play employed because in those last 30 minutes even if it was against a weak team he looked good but it did seem as if the substitutions offered a bit of impetus to the attack. Which briought me to who can add that quality movement in the middle that has been lacking, we know a fit Allen could for some of the game but who can provide that movement on a consistent basis, Franco I have mentioned, Abdulai seems to offer an untested quality needed at this level if others opinions are to be taken into account , Cotterill is getting game time, at Swindon although having only seen him a small number of times, he seemed happy to slow the pace of the game down which for me doesn't suit wide players I will try and watch his play in the aged group game against Iceland as soon as able to see if he offered more than I have seen so far.
