Have to disagree.

A good defender, very rarely beaten for pace.

Had the ability to move forward at pace and potential to make or score goals.

This did not fit in with the plodding, slow forward movement from the back advocated by Williams.

Quality players are stifled by this manager.

I don't think any of us saw anything like enough of him in his preferred position to form any serious conclusions as to his ability one way or another.
