I’ve got mine in reserve.

Well, he still has plenty of time ahead of him, but I’m going for Alf Haaland.

Absolute quality.

Alf Haaland ? You mean Erling Haaland surely … ?

Bobby Charlton for me.

Bobby Charlton read the game so well...coupled with his nature...don't do stupid things....meant he often governed matches. He was very special.
I thought Gazza was unplayable at times...so good he took Serie A on and absolutely governed it....when it was the best league in the world. So naturally talented...and again read what was in front of him so well.
He was special in his own way.

I would probably go for Charlton or Moore, but as a left field option how about Gordon Banks? Many said the number one in that position in his time.

One sees this with the Tyson Fury comments vis a vis fighters from different era

I gauge from the laws and rules of the time .ergo,Dempsey would have beaten Fury in an outdoor arena with 40 degree heat . He probably would have killed him, certainly maimed him.
Marciano would have fouled, butted and scratched him before knocking him through the ropes
Ali boxed him to sleep
Joe Louis pulverised him to submission.

In a more modern time,LennoxLewis would have stopped Fury on 5

in your opinion of course!
