What are you hoping/expecting to see in the league cup fixture on Wednesday?
I personally think we'll see significant changes from what took the field yesterday to get minutes into other players and save the legs of those expected to play a big part against West Brom on Saturday.
I'm expecting the starting XI to look something like:-
Vigaroux* (unless another keeper is confirmed in time)
Naughton
Abbey
Pederson
Tjoe-A-On
Allen
Grimes
Fulton
Abdulai
Bianchini
Vipotnik
Hopefully see Josh Thomas get some minutes too and see what he can offer.

I think some first team combos need to play to get up to speed with playing with eachother under game conditions. Not the whole game but part of it.

International break after Saturday, I certainly hope we put out a strong side, we need to get used to playing with each other, we shouldn't be leggy this early in the season.

Yeah I get your point regarding players playing together, I just can't see it happening much with a 6 day turnaround visit to West Brom and no midweek game for them. I'd love to see an almost full strength side, but can't see it happening, we will need a fully fit/fresh best XI to get anything out of the West Brom game on Saturday | | | |
