Very true but I've seen them on their solo tours many a time and they still have it.

At the end of the day, if it makes people happy with all the nonsense going on around the world, then bring it on.

Fair comment really.
They do divide though.
Love or hate
I’m rather ambivalent really which proves I’m weird

I quite like a lot of Oasis songs. Oasis fans however are another story. I can remember them in the mid-90's, all wearing big overcoats, striding about like they'd just shat themselves, talking to each other in fake Manc accents (despite being from Swansea) and doing industrial levels of cocaine.

The idea of being in a crowd of 80,000 of them horrifies me. Mrs. Winston really wants to try and get tickets.

My daughter has entered a lottery to get some .
She’s a decent woman too.
Just like their music
So do I ,at least sone of it
Their first album was stunning then the later ones tailed off. It often happens

I like many of Oasis' songs but I don't get the huge hype this is getting.

People are going to be ripped off and it's just a money grab by Oasis.

They aren't together, I think since 2009. They give nothing to fans, no new music, albums, nothing. Then expect you to pay £1000+ for a ticket and probably the same for a hotel room etc.

Bit of a joke really.

Exactly that.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It’s the early sign of nostalgia for the kids of the 90s

It's not a unique thing I guess, the late singer of 1970's punk band The Slits was so influenced by reggae that she adopted a Rasta/Jamaican accent, the problem was her German accent was showing through at the same time also. It looked silly like Harry Enfield in the video.

I knew a guy that I used to hang around with who got a work visa in America, came back to the U.K to visit and when I bumped into him he was talking with a full on American accent.

Talk about a surreal experence, I think he must have been putting it on, because my granmothers sister was still speaking with a 100% Welsh accent despite leaving Pantycelyn Road Townhill fifty years after going to Michigan so that her husband could work in the car industry out there.

I often ponder how many Welsh people went out there, I guess it was many? Probably many Hughes, Jones and Morgan etc surnames out there.

I’ve got two mods on this part of the forum tonight. I’ve already been notified of two bans forthcoming that I cannot ignore. You are taking up our time with insults and swear words being manufactured with symbols. On that subject, we are not going to tolerate. It. Don’t like it, go elsewhere. No more of that immature behaviour please.

On the subject of personal abuse, that comes with an immediate ban.

And please no more Oasis threads.

Mate of mine left Swansea and went to work as an accountant in the big smoke, he lost his accent in about 2 months! He said you need to talk posh to get on to be fair he has done well for himself, but I’d love to have seen him do it with his Swansea accent.

Attend so many original bands concerts locally . Focus next up at £ 20 for a stage seat .

Group personnel has changed over the years but still I will be there .

Queen last year in Birmingham 70 notes up in the gods albiet , but not ripped off on price .

There must be a culture of ticket sellers , hotels plus agents and touts to make a mint .

Sad decent followers are being taken to the cleaners though .
Money talks .
