"UKRAINE has obliterated one of Vladimir Putin's prized Black Sea submarines in an impressive attack on occupied Crimea.
Kyiv forces said the prized Kilo-class Rostov-on-Don submarine, worth £275 million, was hit in a strike on the Sevastopol port."
"Ukraine's attack on Friday also “significantly damaged” four of Putin’s ultramodern S-400 air defence systems - worth in total around £2 billion.
Kyiv claimed the missile barrage also targeted four vital launches of Russia's "Triumf" air defence system.
The Kilo-class Rostov submarine - used to fire calibre class missiles on Ukraine - had been hit in September 2023, but was then repaired.
Dramatic pictures showed the gaping hole ripped into its side after a barrage of Storm Shadow missiles bypassed air defence systems to blast naval docks in Sevastopol.

It has it's over. Russians have stopped it. Ukranians are no longer going forward. It's easy to break through the weakest defended lines in force, but not so easy to stay there. Russians will remove them over the coming weeks
Oh dear. Here we go again.
The Ukrainians have told the world that they wont be staying. What they'll adsorb the Russian meat waves, possibly again having a 1:5 death rate whilst also attriting the remnants of the Russian heavy equipment. then they will execute a fighting withdrawal to the previous position that they dug-in and do the dame there. I aslo suspect that they will have some new troops mixed in with veterans to give them battle experience.

They aren't though. The Russian airforce has halted them. Glide bombs and Iskander missiles has destroyed most of their tanks and armoured vehicles
Of course they would have evacuated, but they have places to go unlike the Gazans who didn't
The Ukrainians stop and dig in where they want/can. Earlier this week a Russian airfield ammo dump got blitzed...it was said to house around 700 glide bombs. Oh dear.
Additionally the Russians are evacuating their civilians ...to Russian held Ukraine so that they can't let the rest of Russia how badly it is going and how that the Ukrainians HAVEN'T LEVELLED RUSSIAN TOWNS like Putin fights.

Ill discipline, poor morale, no motivation. The Russian army is on its arse. They only thing it’s got going for it is numbers but how long will young men be willing to throw themselves through the meat grinder for a cause they or everybody else doesn’t believe in?

I tried to watch it but the absolute crap he is coming out with straight off the bat is just mind numbing. I’m sorry. Not sure who he is but surely no sensible person in the 21st century can honestly sit there and suggest that just because a country used to own land in another country they have the right to take it back? If we’re going by that criteria Britain probably has a bigger claim on crimea than the Russians do.
Should we invade Ireland just because we used to own it? No that would be mental.

and go again, they've proven that Russia cannot protect its borders and with the success of this incursion I wouldn't be surprised to see this occur again. What a morale boost to the Ukrainians and morale sapping for Ivan.

The border is 1200 miles long, It's like Swansea to Rome. It's easy to break through, but doing anything else is more difficult
There has been no success apart from a morale boost and a PR stunt to pacify their paymasters in Europe. Ignoring the fact that Russia is making consistent gains in the other areas.
You have taken the card the conjourer has given you.

I would imagine it’s the most heavily guarded border in the world considering it’s on a frontier of a war zone. You can’t break through heavily guarded borders mun!
