Always assumed whilst working in the steel industry many years if I was sacked I would lose my pension , hence people resigning rather than being fired and losing the lot , an option .
Maybe laws have changed in the meanwhile but that seemed to be the word back then .
Now seems a Stand in Chairman of the BBC thanked him for his work for Auntie even though he was under suspicion of allegations of such a serious crime .
Chucked in a 40k pay rise too whilst he was on suspension .
Anyone I worked with under investigation for this crime , give a wide berth to whoever .
