Their songs, technically, are simple and Can be learned by a novice Sadly, for some, music is primarily about a tune,a melody,a bunch of notes out together that are sung by millions . It’s why Coldplay are huge, and Martin a clever songwriter. All royalties shared equally in the band. Pretty socialist for posh boys Innit

Why have you got this obsession with the term working class, you said you hated it cause it pigeon holes people, I don't personally class myself as anything, I work of course but so do 99% of others, I earn what I earn and other's earn less and others earn more, but we all still work.

They're a decent band who play stuff that's easy to listen to and enjoy, all walks of life no doubt enjoy listening to them. Compare them to that crap Idles produce and there's no comparison. They were on last night and I turned tele over.

Because I believe it’s a derogatory term, used by politicians down the ages to keep a group of people in their place and not to get above their station. Look around and yiu will see plenty of what I mean. Obsession it ain’t

Yes , middle aged men trying to be anarchic culminating in that disgraceful " National anthem " .along with all the other woke messages - Pathetic . Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells .

Coldplay on 00:54 - Jun 30 with 1582 views | Robbie | Will watch Coldplay on catch up at a later time , not for me but a family member went to Cardiff few years ago and loved their show that night . Some reports earlier suggested a lot of the acts were playing with backup audio as a fail safe for technical problems , must be an option for a turnover of so many performers on a stage , sound checks must be a problem in a short space of time to get it right . Most of the big arena shows I attend now , marvel at an OAP with a voice still sounding the same now even as I remember it from my 33 rpm vinyl , techonology , got to love it . Tinternet now claims Taylor Swift lip synched this her entire World Tour . Shania Twain legends spot Sunday , Dolly Parton nailed that gig a few years ago .
Coldplay on 01:06 - Jun 30 with 1564 views | Luther27 | Only time in my life I wished I was there. Saw them at Cardiff a few years ago and they are the best live act I have seen. Chance meet with a female safety officer years ago who took a call from a band member asking to speak to his father. He told him he could retire that day as he’d earned enough to look after his parents for life. Her words I can only repeat and can’t verify. Make of it what you will but she mentioned his parents weren’t pleased he dropped out of Uni to play in the band.

Similar story with Brian May. His dad was not best pleased that he abandoned his studies to go and play in Queen. They had a massive rift over it. Then one day he brought his whole family over on Concorde to watch a show at Madison Square Garden, and at the end of it his dad said "OK, son, I get it now".

I always find it ironic that thousands who attend are quite likely those of an environmental bent and yet are quite happy to leave tons of non and recycle waste. Other than than I did like Coldplay's earlier stuff but imo now same old same old

I have an issue with the woke majority there from clear middle class backgrounds paying out £700 for a ticket for him / them / they and the Mrs / Mr / those / etc for 2 with their plastic tents (thousands are left to clear up each year) and the 25 tonnes of rubbish blowing across the environment, trampled fields and countless (thousands) of cars emitting carbon into the atmosphere. They conveniently forget that multi national companies make profits who support everything they despise whilst a vegan sausage roll and a pint of warm beer is £17. Every act is flown in by helicopter damaging the environment whilst these creepy ‘hippies’ berate the police but would be the first to call them when they their entitled lives are in the slightest bit challenged. And all the while they dance and celebrate whilst a huge mock up of a boat with caricatures of illegal immigrants are passed over the crowd in only what I can describe as Middle Class Britain celebrating the death of hundreds of migrants in our waters each year. Full on, 100% thick, entitled ponces. You can stick Glastonbury right up your Mark Harris, it’s a constant stream of double standards. And the Idles are shite as well. And as for Coldplay 🤮
