Hypothetical question, but where would they have finished if they hadn’t sacked Eustace?

Especially with Eustace’s Blackburn saving themselves with a win vs Leicester.

Eustace is clearly a good guy, so I doubt he'll engage in much schadenfreude, but it must taste sweet to him.
Well done to Plymouth!

Bare bones.

Not 3rd from bottom that's for sure. But thank god they did!

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

51 points needed to guarantee safety and 90 points not getting you automatically promoted. That must be one of tightest Championship seasons ever.

The grass is always greener.

So pleased the owners of Birmingham have got this so wrong. Serves them right. Also glad Eustace guided Blackburn to safety. What a crappy lot Birmingham's owners are. So glad Plymouth stayed up. Good for them.

Never knowingly right.

Only Hudds of the bottom 8 didn't win. Madness

Hypothetical question that's impossible to answer. Either way, they're down and deserve to go down. I feel for the fans but the owners got what they deserve for their vanity Wayne Rooney project.

Totally. Also shows that our players from last season who all went there proved once again they are not up to this level. Agent Dozzell not even in today's squad.

Never knowingly right.

Eustace was okay I guess, Blackburn weren’t exactly in the relegation mix when he joined

I suspect there is no chance they will hold on to Sammie if a top team comes calling and that will really test Eustace losing all those goals .

Ha ha ha ha. So long Sanderson, Laird & Roberts. Not one good attitude between them. And what a difference Dozzell made!

Birmingham down. on 16:08 - May 4 with 6946 viewsmart_Goblin

Roberts didn’t even get on which says it all.

I think that’s called football karma. Laird and Roberts checking out last season when it got tough, Sanderson thinking he’s better than he is …the sacking of Eustace etc ..now they have to slog around league 1 which they will feel is completely and utterly beneath them. Agents now scrambling to get their pampered overpaid players out of there … not an ounce of sympathy

Just got something that says, since Dozzell left us: only Leeds and Ipswich have accrued more points than us.

His greatest contribution was putting the kibosh on one of our rivals!

As Mark Clemmit said on 5 Live Birmingham have been hovering above that bottom 3 line for nearly a decade now more or less, too many times gone too close to the sun.

Let's not slag off Roberts too much. Gave us one of the most enjoyable moments of the season with the "shot" that ended up in S block.
