An absolute pleasure to have seen you play.

I always remember Stan's first visit back to Loftus Road playing for Forest when he, pre arranged, ran out on to the pitch by himself before the other 21 players.

Goals such as home to FC Cologne in 1976 and a very similar goal against Liverpool a year later will never be forgotton.

My favourite too.

I turned up at Rangers one saturday and Marsh wasnt there, but this other chap, who just scored for fun.

Needless to say he was my favourite from then on and i adored his couldnt give a sh1 t attitude.

simply put, i dont think i saw a better player from 1965 to the present day.

Best Stan memory for me was the 3-2 win in the FA cup v Coventry, Stan scored from a free kick to win the game.
