Feed the birds. 12:08 - Jan 19 with 949 viewslifelong

Hope you are all doing so in this cold snap, it’s very rewarding.
A lot of Gold Finches coming to a couple of my feeders.

I've always had my bird feeder out, but in the cold weather I put two out, sadly the species of birds feeding on them has declined significantly in the last few years.

It has coincided with the amount of cats visiting my garden to chase the birds, and I have seen them take a few birds, in between taking a dump, plus a sparrow hawk is a regular visitor.

We put bird feeders out and we have insect houses too, birds and the bees see.

We used to take our dog to Fendrod lake reguarly and buy big bags of seed to feed the Swans and geese down there.

Its very cathartic.
