With the Swans stalling on a new managerial appointment having had Allan Sheehan in charge of the side since December 4th, the next opponents are Coventry City away on Friday night. We have been told that Josh Key is out for what is expected to be a fairly long period after a first scan, as we reported in the week failed to identify the actual root cause of the injury. The damage is believed to be a hamstring but this is the second time this season Key has faced a long lay off. 0

He has to come good at some point, he hit it well.
He’s definitely marmite.

Totally undeserved

No, it was deserved. If only just.

There’s much more wrong than right at the moment though.

Strange, play him where he's most effective not on fannying about out on the wing

Good support there, and fair doos to the players at the end, but we all need to dig in and fight.

To be fair, I think we were slightly improved from recent displays, sadly, we still have the "why pass forward, when you can pass back" mentality.

All in all it wasn't a bad night, I would have taken a point before KO, Cullen's last gasp goal will certainly boost his confidence and a very good showing by 17year old Sam Parker.

We are a point further away from relegation, looking forward for a further improvement against WBA on Monday.

He certainly didn't let us down, got a bit of pace about him,.

There'll be a few scouts keeping tabs on him the more games he plays, bit early yet, but I think we may have unearthed another gem.

Once we have committed forward in the middle of the park there is absolutely no cover in the centre of the midfield players on the wrong side being turned hence the number of yellow cards we are picking up because we know we will struggle to keep up with players driving quickly through the middle. Same problem we have had for a number of years.
When we do get the ball forward to feet nobody is able to hold onto the ball as inexperienced players running off the ball are not giving viable options maybe not helped by them being too close leading to not very clever flick which are often easier read and intercepted.
As for the inexperienced players they need to be persisted with as at least they will learn because we have to find a way of safely bring our forwards into play without giving the ball away cheaply.
Well done to Sam Parker did well on his first outing.
Think we need to start using Kuharevich as what little we have seen of him he seems to be good enough to bring players into the game.
A point gained away from home and younger players risked with more game time surely it must be the way forward?

West Brom beat Leeds tonight 1-0. Let’s hope the game took it out of them as similar games in the past have done to us.
