He’s busy stamping his sexist credentials on Twitter. Nobody should employ him again, he’s a nutter.

Well the bad news is that it’s likely our next appointment won’t be on that list🥴

ffs he hasn't has he? I don't use twitter the place is toxic. He won't get a job in the uk again. Why would any out of work manager do this? He might be struggling with drugs/alcohol? on a scale of one to ten how bad?

I haven’t got a name but I want a good tactician as I’ve said in another thread. Someone who can make the side less predictable on the pitch and get the best out if the players we have. Not a lot to ask surely?

I think Eric Ramsay is the right one if we have the usual punt and hope. But him, Brian Murphy and Chris Davies are all at top premier league clubs earning a salary that will make Coleman wince. Murphy would be on the lowest but Davies is being mentored by the spurs boss and Ramsay is now training the first team with some decent progress. What would you do ?

He also decided to call his brothers racially aggravated murder a little scrap which lost him 17 years of his life. Don't think its drugs/alcohol, the bloke is just an utter utter scumbag. One which we now thankfully will not have to see in the game again.

I was working in the Huyton area when that murder came about. I could say much but trust me,no club,no organisation wants Joseph Barton around. Born rotten, nurtured evil and he revels in it . [Post edited 8 Dec 2023 12:50]

Honestly, I’d probably go for it. Russell Martin, Steve Cooper and Graham Potter are all far higher profile than they were when they came to us and than Davies, Ramsay and Murphy are now. Ok Michael Duff isn’t, but he wasn’t here long and he failed. They may all be happy to spend their careers as assistants at elite clubs and if they are, fair enough. If they’ve got ambitions of being managers, the Championship is a great opening gig.

It’s whether they want to be number 2 s or the main man . Sometimes,it’s best to test yourself and go for it. If they were to fail, they would be taken back into the football family

Absolutely. If you’re that highly rated by Postecoglou and Rodgers, you’re never going to struggle to get back in. Honestly don’t think we would have made an official approach without some kind of encouragement from Davies.

It would give us a massive most. However,a good win yesterday would beg the question would he be suitable or indeed want it

We’ve been told he is looking for an appointment, and his options are open, however, Sunderland or Swansea ? He wouldn’t turn down a role in coaching in the Premier League.

Kevin Muscat on 13:57 - Dec 8 with 2709 views | OptimisticJack | I believe Muscat has his final match in Japan on Wednesday. If he shows the slightest interest in coming here then Coleman and Watson should get on the next plane to Japan and meet him face to face. ( Hope this is already the case).

Davies for me | |

Kevin Muscat on 00:45 - Dec 9 with 2367 views | OptimisticJack | Somehow I can't see Daniel Levy allowing Davies to leave without significant compensation. I fear complications but hope I'm wrong. Muscat is effectively now a free agent but who knows what his immediate plans are. Both are exciting prospects for me.

Kevin Muscat on 00:54 - Dec 9 with 2359 views | Joesus_Of_Narbereth | Muscat is as much a scumbag as Barton. A player who routinely threatened other players that he would break their legs only to often carry through with the promise leaving one player lucky not to have his leg amputated according to the surgeon who had to perform four operations to save it. It’s a resounding no effing thanks from me. I don’t want this sort of pond life anywhere near my football club.

Nowhere near Barton’s league mun. Roy Keane ended someone’s career deliberately too. As did I’m sure, geezers like Norman Hunter, our own Tommy Smith, Chopper Harris, and even Wales’ beloved Vinnie Jones.

The style of his teams most certainly don't reflect this type of character. Most of us can be guilty of stupid things we have done in our younger days for which we regret and are not proud of.
