Anyone seen it ? Ex pros running a last chance training programme for players released by their clubs.
One story is Jake Flannaghan who saints let go. He actually made the first team and played with Tadic and VVD. He then had three serious knee injuries which finished him at the club. Such a shame as obviously a local lad who loved the club.

I binge watched the series last week.

Jake was one of the few who didn't come across as an utter cock womble.

"cock womble" must be the phrase of the month

It's really quite sad that the pro clubs do not have a funded program which supports players who are released for a period after that decision.

Might be good reality TV but just highlights how clubs are often callous and uncaring.

Two ACLS, both knees wrecked. It doesn't get much worse than that for a footballer, yet he remains remarkably sanguine. Good luck to him. He deserves it,

He has signed for Sholing this season, so perhaps he can work his way back up

At the end of the series they recapped each player. They said Jake had signed for Bognor but had then suffered another knee injury and was waiting for an operation!
Fair play to him I'd have packed it in by now.
